Food noise usually means the nonstop mental tug toward eating gets quieter rather than every single craving vanishing.
Second week on 5 mg tirzepatide and I cannot quite tell if the food noise has truly dropped or if some of this is just expectation. Still, things feel like they are moving in the right direction. I am doing 16:8 fasting. After I eat around noon I feel satisfied with normal portions and do not want seconds the way I used to. There are times I simply have no interest in food. I still get random cravings though, especially for peanuts, and can eat a couple of handfuls without trouble. I had assumed the medication would wipe cravings out completely. So far I have dropped just over 2 kg in week one, had almost no side effects except one day of sulphur burps that cleared after sleep, and my resting heart rate on the tracker sits a little higher than usual without any alerts.
