I'm still new to these compounds myself and have never used a pen so I can't offer any experience. I have been curious about the convenience though and will be interested in whatever others say.
I got one of those injection pens after starting with the pharmacy versions that felt simple. I read a lot of comments and wanted to try one because I like having all the gear when I begin something new. It arrived yesterday with vials and tips. It looked purple and shiny. This morning I moved my dose into the vial, filled the pen, cleared the air, and got ready to use it. It feels awkward to hold, the plunger takes effort to push, and I miss seeing the liquid go in the way I do with regular syringes. I'll finish what I loaded but probably won't refill it. It seems like more than I need. Maybe I picked the wrong kind. If you use one, how does it compare for you? I'm currently on both compounds and one of them is working well and costs less. What makes the pen better than just using syringes?
