I don't think I like this PEP pen

That's what you're supposed to do, but I admit I don't. The tip stays sharp sometimes through an entire pen of three hundred units when I'm down to twelve units a day. I have boxes of tips to last a lifetime. I had to tell the pharmacy to stop including them with my ninety-day refills. My pain tolerance is higher than most and I have excellent infection resistance. Your results may vary.

One contact is dropping more of the automatic style. What is that contact? Link? Thanks.

The main worry isn't the blade losing its edge but rather germs multiplying once the container stays punctured or exposed even slightly. I wouldn't bother with this at all.
