Hi everyone. Most updates we see are the tough ones where someone is dosing high yet still stuck. I would really like to hear the positive updates and wins if anyone has them. I cannot share much yet because I am only three weeks into switching from Tirz to Reta at 2 mg, but I feel good. Hunger is quieter, portions fill me up quickly, and satisfaction lasts longer. I have dropped a few pounds without the rebound gain I feared. Plenty of people say real movement shows after four or eight weeks, so I am staying patient. If you are making headway or close to your target, please share what helped, any advice for beginners or plateaus, and lessons you picked up along the way.

Hey! I began Reta on the fourth of February 2026 and have dropped more than 14 kg so far. Starting weight was 78.8 kg, current is 64.1 kg, goal is 49 kg. First dose was 0.5 mg and hunger plus food noise dropped within two days, plus I felt full sooner. I moved to 1 mg the next week and held there for about two weeks with ongoing improvement. When I reached 2 mg the side effects hit hard: barely 500 kcal a day, constant nausea and vomiting that lasted three weeks even after dropping back to 1.5 mg. I am now at 2.5 mg, still shedding weight quickly with little appetite. It is also easing my PCOS symptoms a lot.

Reta has been very effective for me. Adding a regular workout routine and later Tesamorlin once I was smaller helped target the remaining visceral fat. After exercise began, comments started coming in about how much weight I had lost, even though the scale had not moved much; I think muscle gain was offsetting fat loss. The nightly Tesamorlin shots are wearing on me, so once this vial is finished I will pause unless I feel I need it again. I plan to keep going with Reta and the exercise.

We began on 1/9/26 and are down 36 lb as of Friday. Dosing went 2 mg for four weeks, then 4 mg for four weeks, and now six weeks at 6 mg with no plans to increase while it is still working. Only minor heartburn on injection days and appetite is low but has eased a bit. Sleep was off for about a week but seems back to normal the last three days. A small stall happened on the final 4 mg doses but moving to 6 mg got things moving again.

62-year-old former athlete here with quite a journey on Reta so far. More than 60 lb down since late December 2025. The first nine weeks alone took off 40 lb of inflammation. Carnivore had already brought me to 220 lb on very low calories, yet the swelling from illness stayed and energy was gone. I am now six pounds from the 190 lb goal. I saw myself on security footage and realized I am not fat anymore. Moon-face from Prednisone is gone and my eyes look less squinty. I have Hashimoto’s, complete thyroid failure, secondary adrenal insufficiency, mixed connective tissue disease, and possible myasthenia gravis. Labs are mostly out of the danger zone except cholesterol and triglycerides, and my endocrinologist was impressed. In many ways Reta has given me my life back.

I began at 2 mg and am now at 5 mg. Since October I have lost 65 lb. I am 44, female, and went from 205 lb to 140 lb. I really like reta.
