Reta and Steatorrhea

Summary

Has anyone gotten steatorrhea or constant fullness while using retatrutide, and might that mean the product is actually tirzepatide?

One user reports new steatorrhea, constant fullness, and burping after switching to a second batch of reta while keeping dose and diet identical; the first batch produced none of these effects and the user suspects substitution. Others ask how fat in stool is identified and note that responses vary by person, with one suggesting the initial supply may have been underdosed. A separate poster describes cutting dietary fat after starting GLP-1 agonists to avoid GI problems.

Whether the second batch is actually tirzepatide or simply differs in potency or purity

Nothing here is advice.

Hey, has steatorrhea appeared for anyone else on reta? My latest supply feels different and I wonder if it is actually tirze, because now meals leave me stuffed and I burp all day long. Earlier supply never did that and I never felt overly full either. Dose and everything I eat stayed exactly the same, yet the older material still produces none of these effects.

Just wondering how someone actually confirms there is fat in their poop.

Likely the first reta was weak or fake. Mind sharing your injection routine and the total milligrams per week?

You notice oil bubbles floating in the water just like oil poured into a glass.

It probably differs from person to person. I never saw much change in my own bowel movements.

Three shots of 0.75 mg each week add up to 2.25 mg total. The first reta gave solid appetite control, reduced food noise, and clearly better glucose readings plus insulin sensitivity. After two weeks on the new material the constant fullness and burping are already noticeable. I even thought about side-by-side testing with genuine tirze because symptoms alone do not reliably separate the two compounds.

Since starting GLP-1s I have lowered the fat in my meals and now stick to lean meat and vegetables because I was told fatty foods would trigger major stomach trouble.
