Sema/Reta Stacking?

Summary

experiences stacking semaglutide with retatrutide after stalling on reta alone

Users who stalled on high-dose retatrutide reported adding low-dose semaglutide (0.25-1 mg) improved appetite control and restarted weight loss without major issues when blood sugar was monitored. Several described titrating sema down as reta increased, while others added it only after reaching 8-10 mg reta. A few preferred cagri over sema for maintenance but noted solid suppression from either add-on.

Been on GLPs over a year and dropped about 90 pounds so far. Started with sema at a med spa, moved to tirz for cost, then switched to reta from research sites two months ago. Now at 12 mg reta weekly but loss has slowed with 50 pounds still to go. Sema controlled hunger best for me while reta feels weaker there, though it has other upsides. Not keen on cagri because of side-effect reports. Two questions: is it okay to go past the 12 mg trial max for better hunger control, and has anyone tried that? Also, since reta and sema are similar

On reta at 10-12 mg and added up to 1 mg sema. Kept an eye on blood sugar which went a bit low at times. Eating four regular meals helped. The combo took weight from 100 down to 120 pounds lost.

Solid progress. I dropped 110 pounds on sema then hit a wall last year. Started reta at 2 mg this week along with 1.25 mg sema and hope to lose another 40 pounds.

Good point on blood sugar, I will start checking mine again if I try this. Do you plan to drop the sema dose once reta goes above 2 mg?

Thinking about trying the same stack. Currently on 2.4 mg Wegovy but stalled, maybe partly from winter. Down 70 pounds from 320 to 250 at six feet tall and want 25 more. On GLP-1s since last November. Insurance keeps switching me between the two meds.

Plenty of people combine different GLPs. I skipped stacking them but added a small dose of cagri to my 3 mg weekly reta during maintenance and it worked well. Dropped the cagri in November and still hold steady on 3 mg reta once a week. Cagri usually gives strong suppression.

With enough supply it makes sense to raise reta to the 8-10 mg range before adding anything else. If stretching supply then sema is logical since reta is weakest on the GLP-1 side.

Plan is to lower sema while raising reta. After the fourth 2 mg reta dose I dropped to 1 mg sema. Next week going to 4 mg reta and 0.5 mg sema. Aiming for 30 more pounds this year. Can raise sema again if needed but suppression is good right now.

Currently using 10 mg reta with 1 mg sema every six days and no problems.

Stalled two months at 8 mg reta. Tried going higher but got diarrhea so backed off. Had already lost 100 pounds at that dose. Added 0.5 mg sema two weeks ago and weight started moving again. Will raise sema to 1 mg next.

Did you begin sema at the full half-milligram or start lower at a quarter milligram like the usual starting dose?

Running 4 mg reta and 250 mcg sema twice a week.

Appreciate all the replies. Started 0.25 mg sema three days after a 10 mg reta dose. Three weeks in now and hunger control is noticeably better with steady weight loss returning. Staying at these levels for now and will raise sema slowly only if needed.

Thanks for the update. Looking to start the reta stack with my current sema to speed things up a little. Recent loss has been around four pounds a month.
