If you're lifting and gaining muscle that weighs more than fat, the scale can stay steadier without any real problem. As long as the mirror looks good to you that's what matters.
I began using reta three weeks back on April 6. Starting weight was 70 kg at 172 cm; now I'm at 67 kg on a steady 1 mg per week. Food noise is completely gone. My weight loss is slower than what others report, probably because I wasn't starting from obesity and I keep lifting every day while using creatine. Tracking calories showed I was only getting about 40 g of protein instead of the 140 g I actually need. With better protein and the reta I'm basically recomping, dropping fat while adding muscle so body-fat percentage improves even though the scale doesn't drop fast. I can see the difference in the mirror though, and a coworker mentioned my face looks a bit leaner in a good way. At the gym I look noticeably better. I'm not sure I'll go up to 2 mg since it seems unnecessary right now. Just wanted to post my experience.
