Thanks for all the details that's helpful. I've been hesitant because some reported stalls but after reading your experience I'll probably add tesa.

Start low and titrate up. There can be some initial water retention that fades. In my view reta handles most of the weight loss while tesa supports recovery and strength retention in a deficit. Can't explain how I keep training volume without it and the test. The workload would likely tank natural test otherwise.

ClearKettle41archiveJul 5

Tried a tesa cycle and weight loss stalled with no big difference versus CJC ipa. I was lifting heaviest ever on the CJC stack. Now on ipa only and weight is trending down again. Will see if that holds and whether tesa was the culprit. Might have increased insulin resistance despite being on reta. Wish I'd checked morning glucose levels during the tesa run.

Good info. How long does the water retention usually last? Varies person to person but curious about typical duration. Do you feel tesa helped protect muscle on reta? That's my main worry. I train eat clean and aim for high protein but hitting enough is tough some days so I set phone reminders.

What starting dose did you use for tesa 0.5 mg? How did the first days feel and any sides?

WarmCompass27archiveJul 5
↳ replying to @BlueQuill24

On tesa and ipa for 34 days now plus reta for a while. I got frustrated with weekly weigh ins too but noticed clear waist reduction and my hypertrophy numbers are creeping back up. Started at 1 mg tesa and 200 mcg ipa daily then raised to 1.2 mg and 250 mcg four days ago. Deep sleep has been the biggest win and the dreams feel extremely real. The better rest indirectly helps muscle preservation though I wouldn't claim direct growth yet. Slowly increasing to test that possibility.

Had a similar stall on CJC ipa after steady 1.5 to 2 lb weekly loss. Switched to hgh and still stalled then raised reta from 3 to 4 mg weekly and started dropping again. Body fat percentage kept falling during the stall though. GH compounds and hgh cause water retention that can hide scale movement. Some think reta helps offset insulin resistance from higher IGF-1.

KeenKettle50archiveJul 5

Ran tesamorelin and CJC no DAC ipa for two months on top of retatrutide. Not sure if they helped but when I suck my belly in it looks more concave now.

WryCompass65archiveJul 5

Can't say it was tesa directly but it didn't cause problems. Water retention cleared fairly quickly from what I recall.

Someone posted stability test results for tesa showing baseline purity and content then checks at 30 60 and 90 days. The 30 and 60 day marks showed almost no drop while 90 days had a 1 percent purity decline and 0.9 mg content loss. Room temperature samples declined faster at about 1 percent monthly early on and 5 percent overall. Still most people wouldn't keep a vial that long anyway since even 20 mg would be used up in around 40 days at 0.5 mg daily.

I've followed your posts and you do run on the wild side. You already know the coffee add ins are the real issue. Getting used to pinning during night bathroom trips might work for you too. No one's going to talk you out of hgh but there's a difference between tesa making your body produce its own growth hormone versus receiving actual exogenous growth hormone. As a general rule exogenous hormones are stronger but also shut down your own production because the body senses it's already there. Once stopped the natural production often doesn't fully rebound. With tesa the natural production pathway stays active and can even strengthen like a muscle being worked.

Started at 1 mg pinning every day in the morning. Now switching to evening to test sleep effects too soon to tell. Side effects have been only slight sting after the shot. Best sleep came the first one or two days but hasn't repeated so trying night pins to bring it back. Mornings feel less fatigued and recovery from workouts is better lately. No other sides. Planning to stay at 1 mg for at least a month or until bloodwork. Also have ipa ready but don't want to add multiple things at once.

That midnight or 1 am option could work for me too. Thanks. And wow picking up sale vegetables at the store. I didn't realize hgh levels might not return to baseline after stopping. Every new detail makes it feel like there's always more to learn. I had assumed it would bounce back. Also didn't know tesa could potentially boost natural production like exercising a muscle. Following you now. Might just stick with tesa after all since price isn't the issue but long term health is. Appreciate the info that's why I stay here.

SharpHarbour41archiveJul 6

I've considered switching from tesa to GH but every time I weigh it I land on the same conclusion that tesa is safer and simpler. Cost difference isn't huge for me anyway.

Unlike testosterone or similar steroids, growth hormone lets your own output recover fast, usually within a day or two at most. I've never seen any sign that tesa creates a permanent rise in natural levels, as though it were building up the pituitary the way muscle grows. Output would just settle back to normal once you quit. Anyone concerned that ongoing growth hormone might reduce pituitary function over time could try alternating several months on with breaks that include tesa to support recovery.

AmberCompass48archiveJul 6
↳ replying to @NorthSparrow39

That's what I thought too. Never heard that hgh wouldn't return to baseline or that tesa could raise natural amounts. What you're saying matches what I believed.

BlueQuill24archiveJul 6

With respect to the other user let me expand on the physiology. In endocrinology the rule is that introducing exogenous hormones causes the body to downregulate or shut down its own endogenous production of the same hormone through a negative feedback loop. The body keeps hormone levels in a tight range for homeostasis via a multi step axis starting in the hypothalamus which senses low levels and releases a releasing hormone then the pituitary secretes a stimulating hormone and the target gland responds.

Yep that's me. Normally 123 to 125 lb without ipa CJC or tesa ipa but on them I'm about 5 lb heavier. Also notice some under eye swelling at first that usually fades after week two.

I begin each morning with a protein shake blended together with psyllium husk. Would that mixture count as breaking the fast?

KeenMeadow61archiveJul 6
↳ replying to @GreyPebble34

If you pin the Tesa first, then yes it would.

GreyPebble34archiveJul 6
↳ replying to @KeenMeadow61

No, what I meant is whether a protein shake breaks a fast at all. If I pin Tesa right after waking, can I have the shake an hour later without it interfering?

NorthWillow72archiveJul 6
↳ replying to @GreyPebble34

Any calories at all end the fasted state right away, even a little milk because of the sugars and protein that raise glucose and insulin. That stops the repair and fat burning processes. I had to get used to plain black coffee for that reason, and even artificial sweeteners can trigger the same response.

Week four day one went smoothly with almost no sting, probably because I used the glute. Sleep turned out excellent and gym recovery felt noticeably better with a couple personal bests hit. Waist looks visibly smaller too.

GreyPebble34archiveJul 6
↳ replying to @NorthWillow72

Okay thanks, that clears it up. How long after the morning Tesa pin should we wait before eating and breaking the fast?

KeenMeadow61archiveJul 6
↳ replying to @GreyPebble34

Already covered that anything with calories breaks the fast. Still, waiting sixty minutes or longer after the Tesa pin means the pulse should stay effective. Pin first thing, stick to water only, then carry on with your day after an hour or more.

WarmPebble39archiveJul 6
↳ replying to @SharpSparrow28

True, I left that out earlier but water retention has shown up for me too. Started around two pounds and now sits closer to four or five, pushing the scale higher in week two. Measuring the waist helps track progress since the number on the scale gets misleading. Some people on five days on and two off notice the extra fluid eases during the break days. The chart shows the jump right after I began Tesa following a stretch of reta only.

SteadyAnchor31archiveJul 8

Week four days two and three: day two brought only four hours of sleep after an uneventful pin. Day three had no sting going in but stayed sore longer afterward, yet sleep was great at eight hours.

RustMarble61archiveJul 9

That sounds rough. I am in week two and have felt zero sting at any point, pinning at night alongside ipamorelin.

GreenBramble47archiveJul 9

Tesa has never stung for me. Earlier stuff stung only in the stomach area but stopped once I moved to upper glutes, so now I pin almost everything there.

IronLedger90archiveJul 9
↳ replying to @GreyPebble34

Anything above twenty five to fifty calories ends the fast. Taking tesa before bed works better if your last meal was at least two hours earlier.

RustKettle57archiveJul 9

I have tesa and ipa arriving soon and plan to pin at night at least three hours after eating so fasting is not an issue. Any reason you choose mornings instead?

AmberCompass48archiveJul 9
↳ replying to @RustKettle57

Yes, heavy glp1 use slows gastric emptying so an empty stomach was not realistic for me.

RustKettle57archiveJul 9
↳ replying to @AmberCompass48

That explains it. I finish eating by seven most nights while on reta, so I will check timing once the tesa and ipa show up.

AmberCompass48archiveJul 9
↳ replying to @RustKettle57

My partner finishes work late so we end up eating together then.

BlueQuill24archiveJul 9
↳ replying to @SharpSparrow28

Any update on how things went after you started back in April?

ClearKettle18archiveJul 10

Four weeks on two milligrams of Tesa daily and I gained six pounds of water weight right away despite a large calorie deficit. Waist measurements show I am still losing, but the scale stays stuck and I suspect more fluid is coming on. No visible swelling in feet, ankles or face though.

AmberMeadow80archiveJul 10
↳ replying to @ClearKettle18

Same thing happened when I began CJC and ipa. Steady weekly loss stopped and after six weeks only two more pounds came off even though I look leaner.

ClearKettle18archiveJul 10
↳ replying to @AmberMeadow80

Sounds familiar and happens to plenty of others. Looking forward to the fluid coming off once I finish the twelve week run, but recovery feels better so I am staying the course.

SteadyAnchor31archiveJul 10

Missed a few days while dealing with the flu and pinning during that time is not ideal. Felt like my body had to choose between using energy for weight loss or for recovery. Day four I dropped a syringe and lost the dose after it hit my hand and toe. Day five was mild sting with seven hours sleep and I am now considering seven straight days, even setting a fasting timer out of habit.

BlueQuill49archiveJul 10

Started Tesa five weeks ago and also pin in the mornings while on GLPs. Keep the vial in the bathroom and do it right after getting up. Two milligrams daily works since I skip breakfast anyway, though coffee remains tricky because I cannot drink it black and use Fairlife instead. I put it in a travel cup and try to wait three hours, sometimes only managing two. Weekends throw off the routine and last weekend I had coffee only twenty minutes after pinning. Injections sometimes sting or itch for up to an hour and other times nothing is felt; lower belly works best near the scars. Sleep has been really solid.

SteadyAnchor31archiveJul 12
↳ replying to @BlueQuill49

Good to hear the details, you are heading in a solid direction. Adding ipa should help with feeling wiped out after workouts. I am on week five of the tesa ipa combo and waistline plus recovery have both improved noticeably.

SteadyAnchor31archiveJul 16

Haven't posted for a few days. Running tesa while fighting the flu is not a good idea. Hard to tell whether energy went toward weight loss or fighting the illness.

WarmPebble45archiveJul 22
↳ replying to @NorthKettle44

Gemini warned that inner thigh might not be ideal because nerves and blood vessels sit close to the surface.

NorthKettle44archiveJul 24

Quick check in at week eight day five. Nothing major to add, everything feels steady and positive. Energy stays high even while starting a NAD+ cycle. Sleep holds up well except when work shifts interfere. Body recomp looks good from light home workouts with better definition and some muscle showing. Weight stays level while losing roughly a pound of fat and gaining a pound of muscle each week. Bloodwork including testosterone is scheduled next week to see how the half milligram daily dose is affecting levels. No injection site reactions or downsides so far.

CopperAnchor25archiveAug 1
↳ replying to @SteadyAnchor31

Try an ice pack beforehand to tighten vessels and again right after to limit swelling, and avoid pressing hard while pinning.

KeenCompass89archiveAug 1

Running reta with tesa lately and now noticing more hunger signals. Stomach rumbles and the usual empty feeling appear, though not strongly. Tesa is said to raise appetite, yet I keep a calorie deficit and train regularly.

BlueQuill24archiveAug 10

I've had the identical experience. Previously using 2mg tesa daily and 6 mg Reta weekly. After raising reta to 8.25mg weekly the hunger went back to what it was on Reta alone. Weight began falling once more, although at a reduced rate compared to Reta by itself before adding tesa. Haven't taken measurements but my waist feels narrower based on how clothes fit and stomach fat seems to be going down. Sure, faster results would be nice, but honestly I'm not really altering my workouts and my eating approach is just skipping food unless hungry—the simplest slimming method I've tried. Still, it's unclear how this Reta/tesa mix will turn out for different individuals.

BlueQuill24archiveAug 10

Anyone pondering this combo should realize it demands sticking to daily shots along with tougher fasts since the second item slows digestion. On paper the mix looks like it ought to deliver strong results yet the experiences shared by others indicate it falls short of that expected sure win.
