Weight loss stalled by stacking BPC/KPV/TB?

Summary

Does adding BPC/KPV/TB-500 cause weight loss to stall on tirzepatide?

Users report mixed results: several noticed stalled scale progress, stronger food noise, or slower digestion after starting the stack, while a few kept losing without issue. Possible explanations include gut repair increasing nutrient demand or partially blunting GLP appetite effects. Suggestions include raising the tirz dose, inserting higher-calorie days, or finishing the run and pausing to test.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether the peptides directly counteract GLP-1 effects or whether any stall is coincidental and would have happened anyway.

Still open

Whether pausing the stack reliably restarts weight loss or if the effect is temporary regardless.

Nothing here is advice.

Has anyone else seen their tirz weight loss stop after they added the BPC/KPV/TB-500 mix? I was dropping about three pounds a week for a month, then started one milligram of the BPC/KPV each day plus two milligrams of TB-500 on Mondays and Thursdays, and nothing has come off for three weeks. Same thing happen to anyone else? I have four days left in these vials, then I plan to stop and check whether the loss picks back up.

I started the wolverine blend on top of my usual ghkcu/kpv two weeks ago and dropped roughly nine pounds, from two hundred down to one ninety-one. I am using about half a milligram of the wolverine twice a day. I will finish this vial, take a break, and maybe run it again in a month.

Wish that had been my experience. Nothing else changed except adding this stack. I even switched to plain green tea without honey and black coffee this week to see if it would get things moving again.

You can tweak plenty of variables, but leave the coffee alone. Collagen plus that Harry Potter creamer is where it is at.

I will go pretty far to keep making progress. Giving up the creamer in my coffee was one of the last small pleasures I had, and now it is gone because I jumped to the conclusion that it was the problem.

No hard evidence, but I wonder if the gut-repair side of BPC/TB/KPV might reduce some of the appetite control from the GLP meds. When I began GLOW my hunger went up and I had to increase the reta dose. Could just be timing or maybe the body needs extra fuel while it repairs tissue.

I found that planned higher-calorie days helped restart things. Not talking about four thousand calories, just two to twenty-five hundred with some treats, and then I would start dropping weight again.

Appetite control is still decent, but now that you mention it I have been waking up still tasting dinner from twelve hours earlier, something that never happened before this stack.

Interesting idea. I have stayed in a deficit, doing intermittent fasting at about eighteen hundred calories of decent food and added twenty extra minutes in the gym, yet the scale has not moved at all.

I credit KPV and BPC for keeping my stomach calmer. I still get a little food noise now and then, but a few baby carrots usually settle it down.

GreyQuill34archiveJun 23

Had not considered that angle. Since I added Klow the food noise has returned faster than before, even though digestion still feels slow.

BrightSparrow36archiveJun 23

KPV stopped the burps for me when I added it. I even talked it over with grok and think it changes how the gastric slowing works. The extra exercise you added is probably causing some short-term fluid retention and healthy inflammation, so the weight should come off again soon.

WrySparrow78archiveJun 23

I am just going to finish the last four days of this blend, take a break, and see whether the weight starts moving again. It is frustrating because at fifty-two I used to wake up stiff and have to stretch before getting out of bed, but with this stack I can get up almost pain-free.

Why not just go up on the tirz dose? More inflammation control, unless you are already at the fifteen-milligram cap. No reason to stay at the lowest dose if it is not working.

I am only seven weeks in and just moved to five milligrams, so not at the top dose yet.

I agree. A higher-calorie day now and then can sometimes get things moving again.

Harry Potter creamer? Never heard of it. Off to look up something I did not know I needed.

The cold foam version is even better, though my kid treats it like canned whipped cream when I am not watching. Butter beer flavor from Walmart. Pretty fancy.

At least my coffee experiment has cheered everyone else up and sent them on new shopping trips. I am heading to Walmart myself right now.

WryHarbour43archiveJun 24

I might be seeing the same thing. I am at ten milligrams of tirz and have been using three point two milligrams of KLOW daily for almost three weeks and seem to have hit a plateau. I will finish the vial and check progress for the rest of the week.

WrySparrow78archiveJun 24

I am going to try the advice to move up to seven point five milligrams of tirz and see if that gets the scale moving again.

GreyCompass76archiveJun 24

Good to know it is not only me. After two weeks on KLOW I also noticed food noise returning and what looks like a plateau, so I raised my reta dose to try to offset it.

GreyQuill34archiveJun 25

Exactly the same here. I am stuck at two hundred pounds trying to reach one ninety. Originally aimed for one eighty but the wife probably would not like that. Let me know how raising the dose works out. I have not increased yet, but if it helps you I will try it.

SlowMeadow61archiveJul 5

I have been on tirz for about sixteen months, reached twelve point five milligrams, and lost around eighty pounds. I have been stalled for four months and actually dropped back to ten milligrams because the lower dose controls food noise better for me. I just added KLOW and 5amino this week to try to break the stall and help with old injuries and loose skin. If nothing changes in a couple weeks I will add AOD and MOTS-C and drop the 5amino.

Can you explain more about the Harry Potter creamer?

BrightSparrow36archiveJul 5

There is also a cold-foam version.

↳ replying to @SteadySparrow75

Carrots and sauerkraut have helped calm my own cravings. I am about to start KPV/BPC/TB while on ten milligrams of tirz. I will try them one at a time, beginning with KPV, so I can tell if anything changes with my metabolism.

Never tried anything butter-beer flavored. What does it taste like in plain English?

SteadySparrow75archiveJul 8
↳ replying to @LevelBramble14

I also started them separately first, KPV then BPC then TB, before mixing a ten-ten-ten vial. The blend seems to help my chronic back pain. I have one dose left, might take a week off, then try the same approach with GHK-Cu.

BrightSparrow36archiveJul 8

Maybe butterscotch? It is not a super distinct flavor. I prefer the cold foam over the liquid creamer, but the kid was eating the foam like whipped cream whenever I turned around, so that ran out fast.

Blimey Hermione, the butterbeer is wicked! Pepgardium Leviousa! That is actual muggle-speak.
