Looking forward to other replies, but on the combination of the GLP-1 and TRT I found I could want more food yet stop without trouble once I had enough. I reached my goal weight on TRT first and even added a few pounds while on 15 mg of the medication. During active loss I kept a noticeable calorie deficit. It looks like you are still on a lower dose of the GLP-1 and fairly new to TRT, so the two might be counteracting each other somewhat. Without a starting scan it is reasonable to assume resistance training and walking are giving some recomp. If you stay consistent more progress should appear later as the dose rises and appetite quiets further. Muscle is built in the gym but the midsection is made in the kitchen, so skipping some of those higher-calorie meals will probably be necessary for bigger changes.
I want to know how committed others are to eating properly to reach their targets. I used to need 3600 calories just to hold weight and now a normal day is around 2200. I still have two days most weeks that climb to 2800 with a burger or meal out. People dropping weight fast seem either extremely strict or they are letting the reduced appetite handle everything. My own drop is roughly half a pound weekly and my lifts have stopped improving, which is expected. The body is moving in the right direction and I look better than I have in years, yet the fast six-month transformations online make me second-guess the pace. I dove deep into research and even looked into performance enhancers and how to manage cycles, then started a few peptides including something for my shoulder. At this rate it feels like the practical move is to stay casual with the peptides instead of cycling bulk and cut phases. Lifting six years, 42 male, three to four months on GLP-1 and TRT.
