Thank you, appreciate it. It's a fight for sure, but the GLPs have worked well for me.

WrySignal53archiveApr 19

Back in June 2024 I weighed two hundred sixty pounds. For nine months I used semaglutide with weekly injections and dropped ninety pounds while gradually raising the amount until reaching the top level of two point five milligrams. By March 2025 my weight had fallen to one hundred seventy pounds when I switched straight over to retatrutide at two milligrams without any pause or mixing. I increased the retatrutide dose rapidly at first to three point three milligrams weekly before easing up to five milligrams. My target was one hundred sixty pounds which I reached in April 2025 after just a month on the new medication. Now down to one hundred forty two pounds I have continued retatrutide for upkeep during the last year. This week the dose sits at six point four milligrams as I ease it lower toward five or six following some extra pounds from a trip. I often change the amount by tiny steps and keep it mostly from five to seven milligrams each week.

Congrats on the progress. Similar stats here, 5'8" started GLP-1s at 260 lb. Original goal 160 but decided to go lower and landed around 145 with about 3 lb fluctuation. Don't want to go lower. At 160 some favorite clothes were still tight so the extra 15 lb got me to where I feel most comfortable. Maintenance took time to dial in. I tweak reta dose in small amounts constantly to keep food noise from returning without gaining much weight.

The tiredness feels familiar to me too, and it hasn't gotten any better yet. That doesn't mean you're failing as a parent; your system is just dealing with extra demands while focusing on personal well-being. Shedding pounds still counts as improving wellness, both for yourself and the children. Even during this tough stretch, it shows you're prioritizing something meaningful. Sources suggest it gets better eventually, or at least lessens when everything levels out after the adjustments end and you approach a steady point, though my confidence in that is fading fast haha

KeenSignal54archiveApr 19

My scale history reads like a messy novel packed with sudden turns and zero steady plot. Stomach surgery happened when I sat at 85 kg, and within two years the target number showed up. From there the number climbed back to 70 kg before dropping once more to 55 kg after switching to a plant-heavy eating style. Another climb landed at 65 kg until grief over losing my sister to cancer at a young age sent everything soaring to 108 kg. After kidney surgery the same eating style brought the reading down to 55 kg again. A later return to 75 kg was reversed with a high-fat plan, yet repeating that plan later left my body unable to respond at all. No amount of eating less or moving more could shift the needle. After weeks of intense hunger the urge for carbs and treats turned loud and constant. Here the rules block access unless diabetes or several extra health issues are present, so the option stayed out of reach. A contact abroad offered a route, and I returned carrying the supply, anxious the whole trip that something would be taken away. The first dose went in on November 1st 2025 while weighing 75 kg, and suddenly everything inside felt ordinary for the first time since childhood. After that the unofficial route became part of the story too.

12/18/25 at 299 lbs, started reta, 4/19/25 at 255 lbs current at 4 mg per week. Goal 190 lbs.

RustMeadow53archiveApr 19

My starting weight sat at 285 and now sits at 265. The stretch runs from March 16 up to today. I'm holding at 1mg of Reta with no increase yet. A couple weeks ahead of beginning I fixed my meals and stepped up workouts, which already took off 10 pounds by the time I got going.

Appreciate the note. Back when I reached similar numbers before, I dropped down to 162 and felt way too skinny, though that was two decades earlier. Now I want to check how 165 looks at my current age, since body fat has probably shifted around. This round I put more effort into strength work and bouncing exercises instead of the stretching and aerobic stuff I did last time.

WryBramble37archiveApr 19

I planned on asking about this exact thing pretty soon myself. I'm sixty years old and six feet tall. Began at two hundred two pounds carrying twenty eight percent body fat. Three months later I weighed one hundred seventy with fourteen percent body fat and hit my target. Five months in the scale showed one hundred sixty nine and body fat came down to ten point four. Hit the goal and now I'm adding muscle again. Gotta say it's nice heading out for meals with my girlfriend and drawing just as many glances as she does.

PatientBeacon15archiveApr 19

I'm a sixty year old guy who's five foot nine. My weight opened at two hundred thirty pounds late in November twenty twenty five. Right now I'm sitting at one hundred seventy three and aiming for one hundred sixty five. I began using a compounded version of one glp1 medication and took advantage of how it killed hunger by eating just once daily. That approach felt effortless and happened on its own. Around the holidays I came across another source and brought in a triple agonist starting in January twenty twenty six while lowering the first medication. Hunger returned full force so I layered in yet another peptide. The new agonist triggered widespread skin pain that I suspect came from raising the dose too fast. I stopped it and went back to the original medication while keeping the third one on board. The skin sensitivity cleared up within three weeks. I'm now reintroducing the triple agonist at a slower pace because I believe it outperforms the first option when handled carefully. I split all doses across every other day but keep the total active level under twelve point five milligrams by using half life numbers to track it. Fifteen milligrams sits in reserve if progress stops though that hasn't occurred so far. I'm only weeks away from my target and figure one of the two main medications might stay in my routine afterward. Still if daily one meal eating plus workouts hold the weight without any glp1s I'll go that route. Other peptides will stay in the picture for burning fat and supporting workouts and repair. The only real drawback is that clothes I had tucked away for a decade finally fit during March yet that lasted barely three weeks before everything hung loose again.

Your mix of those two caught my eye. Can you share details on using them together? What led you to pair them up? This has me curious and I may try something similar. At 58 I'm male and have shed 32 pounds on the first one at that dose level.

Start weight 260, current 255 to 251. Height 6'2". Timeframe April 11 2026 to now 19th April. Protocol wolverine every other day 625 mcg bpc-157, tb-500 500 mcg weekly, adipotide 330 mcg every other day, aod-9604 300 mcg eod, plus urolithin a, creatine, rhodiola, ephedra, citrulline malate, glutamine, nitro wood.

I'm a fifty-five-year-old man who stands six foot nine. I began using tirzepatide on October twenty-fifth. My initial weight sat at two hundred ninety-seven pounds while my A1C read six point six. Now I weigh two hundred fifty-seven pounds and my A1C sits at five point two. I still have no clue what target weight makes sense for me although body mass index figures suggest two hundred thirty-five.

I experienced no major unwanted effects. Early in the process mild allodynia appeared, and there were digestive troubles upon attempting eight milligrams two times weekly at first. Reduced the amount to seven milligrams on a single occasion, with plans to retry eight the following day. Rest has suffered some disruption, though decent amounts are maintained via effort and routine. This addresses the majority of remaining queries.

WarmWillow50archiveApr 20

I began everything back in 2021 when the scale showed three hundred twenty two. Bariatric surgery later took me down to two hundred thirty. I added tirzepatide around December twenty twenty five and now sit at one hundred sixty two. Half my starting mass has disappeared with about fifteen pounds still ahead.

GreenBeacon89archiveApr 20

I dropped about thirty pounds before hitting a plateau. Then I introduced reta starting near one milligram, increased to two after several weeks, while lowering the tirz amount somewhat. That provided a gentle lift in energy and restarted the weight reduction. At times I stick with reta alone for two weeks, yet the adverse reactions bother me so I return to tirz, adding a bit of reta a few days afterward. I hope this is clear since I'm tired haha.

Your account comes across as an entire narrative filled with surprises and challenging periods while managing to stay humorous throughout. Truly though there is so much weight involved here with big changes in body size along with personal hardships like illness and yet rising again repeatedly. Dropping from around one hundred eight kilograms into the fifties on several occasions really shows what you have dealt with. It never came down to trying harder since your body chemistry was working against you internally. Those funny descriptions you used such as comparing thoughts to a festival or a rocket launch attempt and a missing system error for body processing really land well as they reflect actual experiences. Many others sense similar things without being able to express them so clearly. The sudden feeling of normality once you began that medicine stands out the most because the constant mental chatter stops and it no longer feels like an ongoing struggle which alters your whole situation. Thanks for putting all this out there since it lets readers recognize themselves in the details. I am eager to see what comes next in your journey.

It was my doctor who got me started on that medication too, and it really stopped the constant thoughts about eating. I'm looking to include the other one in hopes of getting similar results. The information shared is outstanding. Back in 2021 I had the stomach procedure, and I began using the first medication in January of the previous year specifically to quiet those urges.

I'm a 36 year old guy who began on the first of March weighing 81 kilos or 178.5 pounds. By the seventh week the scale had hit 76.5 kg or 167.5 lbs on two straight days. I've never been this shredded in my entire life. Taking between 2.5 and 3 milligrams of Reta each week along with Cardarine prior to exercise. I figure once I hit 74 kg that's 163.1 pounds my love handles will be gone.

LevelAnchor55archiveApr 23

I've been taking reta over four weeks now. The past fourteen days brought a three kilogram drop. Earlier reductions happened ahead of these last couple and turned out to be nothing but fluid. The scale moved from ninety point seven down to eighty seven point seven kilos.

ClearWillow59archiveApr 23

My starting weight sat at 188 pounds with a peak of 198, and now I'm down to 136 while aiming for 135. That adds up to 52 pounds shed, or roughly 27.67 percent overall. A full year has passed since my last alcoholic drink, and the numbers on the scale plus body composition both look solid. Everything began once I stopped drinking, did some digging, and obtained compounded tirzepatide. I opened with very small amounts. Several months later on those minimal levels I brought in retatrutide to move things along faster, still keeping intake low and raising it bit by bit. The top dose reached 3 milligrams weekly for each compound, or 6 milligrams combined. Nothing felt unpleasant, though a few odd crawling sensations on the skin from retatrutide appeared briefly before disappearing. My meals stick to a whole-food plant-based pattern around 90 percent of the time, plus fish once or twice each week.

I began at 223 pounds. Right now I'm sitting at 188 with a goal of 175 since mid-February. My doses stepped up from one milligram to two then three of the medication each week. Eating stays near 1800 calories focused on protein and fiber from unprocessed sources while skipping dairy and gluten. Training covers four longer sessions mixing intervals with lifting plus two runs covering three to four miles. Just wrapped week two at the top dose and I've lost 35 pounds already while feeling awesome 😎

That's pretty solid and everything that I'm trying to do besides the HIIT which I would love to do. So did you do 1 mg four weeks, 2 mg four weeks, 3 mg two weeks so far? We almost have the same start day.

I spotted the overlap too. Been going low and slow with the dose, only bumping when the food noise starts creeping back in. Did 1 mg the first five weeks, then 2 mg for four weeks, and now in week two at 3 mg. Plan is to keep stepping up by 1 mg every four or five weeks and probably stop around 6 mg unless I need more. First time using any of these so I’m just paying attention to how my body reacts. Food noise is way down and the diet keeps things regular, so sides have been minimal. Doubt I’ll need much higher before reaching goal, but time will tell. The results so far are impressive. You seem to have a good plan too. I’ve been pushing the workouts pretty hard, which I worry might repeat old patterns of going all out then quitting. Told myself this time is about habits that last, and I don’t see keeping this exact weekly schedule forever. But fe

Male, 50. Started at 171 lbs, now 158 lbs. Began reta six weeks ago at 0.5 mg every three days for a month, then moved to 1 mg every three days for the last two weeks. Aiming for roughly 1800 calories with at least 100 g protein. Tried Noom and dropped from 165 to 150 but only held it briefly before climbing back to 170. Intermittent fasting didn’t work well either because one or two meals still led to overeating, and drinking was still an issue. Now tracking calories and macros with Gemini, and reta makes the deficit easier to handle. Not sure what goal weight should be. Rock climbing has gone well at 135-145 lbs, though 135 felt too lean even with a great season years ago. Reta seems to help keep muscle while fat comes off, so the target might end up higher once body-fat percentage looks right.

Started reta research at 2 mg and closing in on week four. Still deciding between the standard 2-4-6 schedule or just going up when needed. Losing about 2.5 lbs a week so far, which feels like a good rate. Keep going back and forth after seeing comments on glucagon effects at higher amounts and talk of a sweet spot around 6-8 mg, but hard to argue with the progress happening now. No food-noise problems, yet I’m wide awake after only about four hours of sleep. Also surprised at how well this works. Adding workouts seems to push results further. Have been guilty of turning the home gym into a second job, but like you said, moving toward a sustainable three-to-four-day routine makes more sense. Thanks for sharing. Still new to all this and trying to learn as much as possible. Good luck and curious to see how things go for you.

Heck yeah, right there with you. Same here. Sorry about the sleep trouble; haven’t run into that myself, though it’s tough to judge since I’ve always been a poor sleeper and that hasn’t shifted on reta. Takes a while to fall asleep but once out I stay out. New to these meds too, not new to training and nutrition, so I can share some thoughts there if helpful. Will watch for any updates once you reach the 6-8 mg range. Might reconsider my own plan. Cheers.

Male, 27. Started at 236, now 224 after three weeks on 2 mg per week. Had to drop the dose in week four and didn’t lose anything, but weigh-ins are in the evening after dinner and creatine plus other stuff probably left me bloated.

GreenThistle62archiveApr 23

Began in October. Started at 262, now 215, goal 170. Still more work ahead but heading in the right direction.

BrightLedger82archiveApr 23

I started out at 225 pounds and now sit at 207. My target sits near 170, and at roughly 5 feet 10 inches I would gladly go lower if the numbers keep moving. I've taken a small tirz amount for around six weeks now, with solid early results, though I expect the speed to taper off eventually. I've thought about switching to reta, yet tirz still delivers well even at this modest level, so I plan to stay on it while the changes stay worthwhile.

Good questions. Actually hit a plateau and the scale slowed a lot the past couple of months. Interesting part is it turned into a body-recomposition phase. Even with the scale stalling, fat has dropped noticeably all over and muscle looks like it’s increased. Veins showing more, overall look much fitter than when the plateau began. People who see me regularly noticed the big drop late last year but only recently started commenting on how jacked and ripped I appear. Think reta is still working fine at the same dose and no interest in going higher. Planning to stay at 8 mg until goal, hoping the plateau has finally broken and loss resumes. Still stacking tesa plus ipa.

Not certain on final weight; probably the 130s, but real focus now is getting stronger. Walking since day one and added resistance bands about halfway through. In the middle of building a house ourselves while living in an outbuilding, plus in a very remote spot, so muscle-building has been tougher. Still stronger than nine months ago, which works until the workout setup improves. Currently on about 12 mg tirz, 70 mg NAD+ daily, and 2.5 mg GHKcu daily. Won’t continue NAD once it runs out since no noticeable effect. Just ordered a couple more kits of GHKcu.

Appetite reduced, not feeling like doing much. 2/13/2026 at 211 lbs titrated to 2 mg after two weeks, appetite drop more noticeable along with nausea, some lethargy; increased protein, psyllium, and magnesium. 3/6/2026 at 200 lbs went to 3 mg, felt quite nauseous and unwell after a couple days so dropped back to 2 mg next time. 3/13/2026 at 195 lbs stayed at 2 mg hoping to settle things. Noticed more mucous in the back of the throat, possibly from lawn work or peptides. 3/20/2026 at 198 lbs, mucous increased and thicker, could still be grass or pollen, sneezing a lot for weeks. 3/27/2026 at 195 lbs still at 2 mg, thinking about stopping reta and other peptides to check if they’re causing the darkening mucous. 4/3/2026 at 196 lbs stopped all peptides to test what’s behind the throat congestion. 4/10/2026 at 195 lbs, no peptides for about a week, symptoms slowly easing.

Can’t tell if it was an allergy or another kind of reaction to reta, but the dose increases do sound like they were pushed too quickly given the sides described. More likely hay fever or sinus infection on top of side effects. Not clear how hungry you were during the increases, but it sounds like appetite was already down. When a dose makes you feel generally bad it’s usually better to stay put and wait for it to settle or drop back, especially since you didn’t feel like doing much even on 1 mg. The second increase looks like a plain bad idea given how 2 mg already felt. GLP-1 activation lowers appetite but also brings GI sides and can trigger a central illness-type response with malaise and low motivation. Sensitivity to these adverse effects varies a lot but often lines up with how strongly appetite is affected too, so
