My setup packs a ton of gear into this tight room. Two square frames three feet across sit side by side, one built for basic lifts while the other works as a cable station. Dumbbells stop at fifty pounds, with extra plates on hand for bigger loads. A back-extension device sits nearby, along with a stepper and a treadmill that didn't make it into the shot. I'm looking to add a leg-curl piece but plan to hold off until a joint release drops later in the year. The wife's dance pole shows up in the photo as well.
I'd be curious to check out any photos from someone's personal workout space if they have one set up. I'm also wondering about ways to add better temperature protection on the garage entry so the inside stays comfortable through the hot months. What got you going on putting together your own fitness area in the first place? For me the idea came from putting in long shifts six days a week with the nearest facility a fair drive away and having a couple of kids around middle school age back then. I didn't want to spend extra hours apart from the family just to get some exercise in. My boy and his buddies end up there quite often when school is out but the warmth during afternoons makes it tough so they tend to head in after dark while we're trying to rest. lol.
