Started at 254, now down to 232 since mid February. Began with the usual low doses of Wegovy and have been on the 2 mg reta for the past couple weeks. Total loss so far is 22 pounds. Anyone else want to share their numbers?

PlainAlder11archiveApr 17

Began at 215 and am now at 182 after three and a half months. Both BMI and body fat percentage have improved. Just took my fifth shot at the 6 mg level of reta.

AmberCompass54archiveApr 17

Went from 362 pounds back in August 2020 down to 145 by October 2022. Then crept back up to 178 around February because of perimenopause, but with tirz I am now at 139.

ClearBramble58archiveApr 17

Highest was 338, started the GLP meds at 308 and am currently 230. A1C dropped from 6.6-6.7 down to 5.2.

SlowThistle36archiveApr 17

Weighed 390 in June 2022 and got to 330 by March 2026 without any meds. Started tirz at 2.5 mg in mid March, switched to 1 mg reta in mid April. Current weight is 310 with a goal of 225.

PatientHarbour23archiveApr 17

Began at 249 and am now at 117 since June 2021. Had bariatric surgery that year and added split micro doses of tirz starting January 2025 to handle food noise and OCD. Taking two shots a week totaling about 7 mg and plan to add a low starting dose of reta soon.

BlueAlder28archiveApr 17

Started at 226 with a BMI of 40 and after 114 days am at 180.4 with BMI 32.2. Doses went 3 to 6 to 7.5 to 10 mg of tirz on a six day schedule. Added 0.5 mg cagrilintide two weeks ago, staggered three days after the tirz shot. The twelve year graph shows a clear change once the GLP meds began. Down 45.6 pounds total.

PlainTimber26archiveApr 17

Highest was 205, dropped to 180 after a year of plant based eating. Started tirz ten weeks ago and am now at 164.

NorthKettle44archiveApr 17

Highest 205, made some diet changes and started at 195 in mid February, now 165 as of mid April with a goal of 145. Always split the doses twice a week, moving tirz from 2.5 up to 7.5 mg over seven weeks then crossing over to reta at 4 to 6 mg over four weeks. Currently testing how reta alone affects satiety and will add low dose tirz back if needed after reaching 8 mg reta.

AmberSparrow63archiveApr 17

Haha the graph is funny but impressive. Nice job!

Solid progress. Let me know how the solo reta test turns out.

NorthKettle44archiveApr 17
↳ replying to @AmberSparrow63

Will update. Two full weeks at 6 mg so far and will stay there another two before going to 8 mg. Planning four weeks at that level too before considering adding any tirz back. Should be close to goal by then and can titrate down to a maintenance level that works.

LevelThistle44archiveApr 17

Started tirz at 282 pounds on December 12 and began splitting doses in the third week. By January 10 was 272 and began moving over to reta. Now at 235 on 7 to 8 mg split twice a week. That is 47 pounds in 18 weeks or about 2.6 pounds per week, which lines up with losing one percent of body weight each week.

IronKettle79archiveApr 17

Male, 51, 5 foot 10. Started at 280 in February 2025, now 177 in April 2026 with a goal of 150. Body fat 21.4 aiming for 15. Current stack is 6 mg reta Monday, 7.5 mg tirz Wednesday, another 6 mg reta Friday. Planning to add HGH soon.

SteadyTimber49archiveApr 17

Started September 2025 at 205 and am now 140. Began with reta, did a couple rounds of the low dose version, and recently added some MOTSC.

QuietKettle56archiveApr 17

Type 1 diabetic, began five months ago on tirz. Starting A1C was 8.9 at 276 pounds. Now A1C is 6.6 at 214 pounds, so 62 pounds lost.

Really like how you broke it down with the percentages and the app looks useful. Mind sharing which app that is?

KeenKettle95archiveApr 17

Using only reta. First two doses at 2 mg, third at 4 mg. Went from 229 pounds on April 3 to 215.2 on April 17.

WryCompass65archiveApr 18

Since around mid January using 0.6 mg test c per week split, 1 mg HCG per week split, 3 mg reta per week split, 5 mg cialis daily, and 2 mg tesamorelin five days on two off. Also lifting, skiing and mountain biking five days on two off.

BlueSignal49archiveApr 18

Started at 288 and now 245 since mid November. Tirz at 2.5 mg month one, 5 mg month two, and 7.5 mg since then. Losing about a pound a week so no plan to increase the dose yet.

SlowSignal40archiveApr 18

Started at 260 and now 255 since April 11. Protocol includes wolverine blend every other day at 625 mcg BPC, 500 mcg TB weekly, adipotide 330 mcg every other day, AOD 300 mcg every other day plus several other supplements.

IronBramble31archiveApr 18

Highest 588, lowest 176, currently 190. Had weight loss surgery in 2009 and got down to 250 then back up to 392 a few years ago. Started compounded tirz two and a half years ago at 325 and reached 210, then reta took it to 176. Usually hold around 180 with 1 mg tirz and 1 mg reta each week. Mid fifties now and was never diabetic.

ClearCinder61archiveApr 18

Started at 309 and now 214. Used phentermine for a couple months in 2023, then wegovy through early 2024, then tirz from May 2024 up to 15 mg by end of 2025 before dropping to 3 mg. Now in week three of 0.75 mg reta with 3 mg tirz.

LevelCompass91archiveApr 18

Started at 180 (5 foot 1) and reached 115. Used sema from February to December 2024, added cagri around September and got to 139. Took a break and went back up to 155 by April 2025 then switched to reta and hit goal by July. Maintaining since then with 4 mg reta. Highest reta dose was 8 mg, highest sema 1.5 mg, cagri 2 mg.

That is great progress. I did not check my bloodwork at first either. Not diabetic but was heading that direction and went from 5.7 down to 4.9.

PatientAnchor52archiveApr 18

Started tirz December 1 at 259 and am now 199. Also used reta on offset days alongside the tirz.

GreyPebble50archiveApr 18

One year update. Started at 300 and now 185 with a goal of 175. Eating clean, weight training three times a week, walking a couple miles daily and using 4 mg reta twice a week.

SteadyQuill55archiveApr 18

Started at 186 aiming for 125 or possibly 121. Now at 130 since June 2025. Doses went 2.2 up to 8.8 mg tirz with 1.6 mg survo added since November. Currently in week five or six of reta stacked with tirz. Down 56 pounds total.

RustFenwick36archiveApr 18

Started at 215 aiming for 140 and now 146. Been on reta since mid August 2025 and settled at 4 mg twice a week as the sweet spot for several months. Almost at goal.

The GLP meds have worked wonders for my diabetes and also gave me the motivation to start going to the gym and eating better. Keep going.

IronLantern24archiveApr 18

Started at 255 on January 6 2025. When beginning reta on January 5 2026 was at 212 after a year of dirty keto. Now 179 aiming for 165 or possibly lower. Five foot nine so probably will not go much lower. Began reta at 0.5 mg and now at 4 mg every six or seven days.

I nearly posted the same question myself since the initial picture appears to match that application.

AmberSparrow63archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @IronLantern24

Hi there. Great progress, 255 to 179 is a big drop. At your height 165 sounds like a reasonable goal but you are getting to the point where how you feel may matter more than the number on the scale. Still losing steadily at 4 mg or starting to level off?

IronLantern24archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @AmberSparrow63

Have been losing one to two pounds a week the whole time on reta regardless of what the diet was like the week before. Since staying at 4 mg have noticed more body recomposition and can actually see the muscles in my arms getting bigger even though I do not train hard at all.

AmberSparrow63archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @IronLantern24

That is a nice place to be. Steady one to two pounds a week the entire time is about as consistent as it gets. The recomposition part is interesting too. Even without heavy training, losing fat can reveal existing muscle so it can look like size is being added when it is really just becoming visible.

Male 46, five foot eleven. Started at 238 in October 2025 and now 185 in April 2026. Began with tirz in October and went up to 10 mg before switching over to reta five weeks ago. Currently at 8 mg reta and 5 mg tirz three days apart.

AmberSparrow63archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @PlainAnchor84

I have not used tirz myself so I am curious whether you dropped straight to 5 mg when starting reta or lowered it gradually over those five weeks.

PlainAnchor84archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @AmberSparrow63

Started reta at 4 mg and lowered tirz to 7.5 mg. Stayed there four weeks then moved reta up to 8 mg and tirz down to 5 mg. Will do that for a month and see how things feel and how progress goes. Might stay with both for a while or drop the tirz entirely and just use reta for a month.

AmberSparrow63archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @PlainAnchor84

Thanks for sharing that. Seems common to combine the two. Someone I know was on the semaglutide shot for around two months. Switched to reta and quit the other, wasn't certain reta was doing anything because the previous one killed appetite so much. Ever tried reta solo? Without it, did the milder appetite effect make you wonder if it was working once you reduced the tirz? Apologies for the basic questions. Thinking about trying the combo down the line since I miss that strong hunger control, and thanks for the info!

36 year old female. Start weight 252, current 207. Timeframe about a year as of early March. Protocol has been all over the place with tirzepatide doses since June last year. Took a few months off at one point while figuring out heavy periods. Put some back on during the break. Now on 5 mg tirz every five days plus starting reta at 2 mg and going up from there. Progress is back on track, down 45 lbs total.

SharpTimber40archiveApr 19

SW 325 before any GLP-1, then 277, now 260, goal 150.

I'd like to know in this order: what dose of tirz you had reached, how long the bridge from tirz to reta lasted and exactly how dosing was handled in that transition, and whether your current reta dose means you had no strong sides with either. Trying the switch myself but it's not going well. Had issues and strong sides on tirz, only got to 2.75 mg in six months. The first 2.5 mg dose had me thinking I was risking gastroparesis, so restarted at 1 mg.

Congratulations, that might be the best success story I've seen here. I've often said people need to stay on the higher doses used for loss even in maintenance, but clearly you don't. Also impressed the surgeon was fine with the research versions. My own numbers: started 2022 at 145 kg, down to 75 kg or so in 2023 with diet only. Started ozempic in 2024 then switched to research tirzepatide at 15 mg plus reta at 5 mg in 2025. These meds make keeping weight off easier and cut hunger. Now at 65 kg.

RustLantern55archiveApr 19

HW 207, SW 207 at 5'7" female on Feb 16 2026, CW 186, GW 145-150. Muscular athletic frame so under 130 would mean too much muscle loss and I don't want to look skinny. Tirz only. Started at 2.5, now 10 weeks in on 7.5, just did the third pin of 7.5. Not much loss the last couple weeks after the increase. Actually gained three pounds after dropping four suddenly last week. Not sure if the new vial is weaker on appetite or if splitting the dose would help.

You've already made solid progress. Those ups and downs are confusing and have driven me nuts too. Hopefully just temporary. If intake is under needs it's probably normal fluctuation. Men are lucky they skip the water retention swings from hormones.

PlainAnchor84archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @AmberSparrow63

All good. No, I didn't question whether reta was working. I just felt different, like energy returned and was better than tirz alone. Gym workouts felt stronger. Stacking gave some food aversion but I pushed through it, which told me it was fine to lower tirz further. Was on 7.5 mg tirz pinned three days after the 4 mg reta. Now reta at 8 mg and tirz three days later at 5 mg. Planning to try a month with tirz completely out next.

RustLantern55archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @KeenSignal54

Yes the hormone inconsistencies definitely make nothing predictable. The biggest downside has been extra fatigue from the tirz and the loss itself. I'm so lazy now. Honestly think lack of daily movement will hurt muscle tone and mass more than the tirz depleting it. Keep hoping energy returns but some days I'm sleeping 13 hours and still want a nap. It's making me a crap mom. Husband is picking up the slack but I'm not enjoying this.

AmberSparrow73archiveApr 19

Before reta at 1.5 mg, not focused on weight, started 12/29/25. Then now: body fat 15.8% to 13.2%, subQ fat 14.3% to 12.4%, visceral fat 4% to 2.7%, cholesterol 176 to 165, triglycerides 52 to 36, HDL 91 to 97, LDL 75 to 60.
