These meds have totally erased my urge to drink. When I do have something now, which isn't often, I stick to just a single serving or maybe two at most, usually only if it's right there. My longtime passion for canned fish has also disappeared; it was something I enjoyed for years, and during the initial period on the medication I had it several times a week. Over time that tapered off, and these days I might have some once every few weeks. I still enjoy the taste, yet the pull isn't there like before. The other compound strangely created an intense craving for sugary treats that I never experienced growing up. While I did appreciate desserts like most people who carry extra weight, I didn't actively seek them. Within a short time after starting it, I began purchasing large chocolate bars regularly and would slowly consume them over several days to ease those urges.
