Lowering cholesterol is mainly about cutting cardiovascular risk. I don't know of any peptides tested in people that actually reduce it, and using untested stuff for long-term prevention seems pointless. GLP-1 drugs do lower it a little, and semaglutide has solid proof it cuts heart attack, stroke, and death risk in higher-risk folks. The others probably help too but the data isn't all in yet. Still, statins and combos like ezetimibe work way better. Treatment decisions hinge on overall risk from age, family history, blood pressure, smoking, weight, diabetes and so on. High enough risk means statins are one of the best-backed options.
Hey everyone. Quick question: does anyone know of any peptides that might help bring cholesterol down, or is that not really a thing? Appreciate any info.
