Peptides for subcutaneous fat?

14 replies11 peopleSep 30, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Are there peptides that specifically reduce stubborn subcutaneous abdominal fat beyond general weight loss?

Participants report that lower abdominal subcutaneous fat is especially resistant and often remains even at low body weights. General weight loss combined with resistance training is the main approach discussed, while compounds like tesamorelin, GH secretagogues, and CBL-514 receive mixed mentions with limited human evidence for targeted subcutaneous reduction. Some users note ongoing fat loss during maintenance phases, but others highlight metabolic resistance and potential side effects from growth-hormone-related peptides.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether visceral or subcutaneous fat is harder to lose varies by personal experience; some find visceral fat lingers longest while others report the opposite.

Still open

Human confirmation of CBL-514 effects on brown fat and long-term safety remains absent from the discussion.

Nothing here is advice.

I'm taking Tirz at the moment yet looking into additional peptides which could assist in decreasing fat under the skin. My stomach has always carried extra fat beneath the surface regardless of maintaining a typical body mass. Positive reports exist regarding Tesamorelin targeting internal fat however my question concerns the type under the skin instead.

Perhaps her main focus centers on losing that layer of body fat beneath the skin, and she might give up everything else to get there. I selected my phrasing with care and never claimed she ought to try it. 🙂

Lower belly fat underneath the skin tends to hang on longer than most other spots. People with anorexia still notice some there even when their body mass index drops below 18 and they already look underweight. After dropping a huge amount myself and reaching a body mass index of 23 the same area stayed noticeably thicker on me too and lots of women mention the same issue. Something about how that tissue works must make it tougher to shed. Once you hit whatever weight you were aiming for you either live with whatever remains or consider operations like fat removal or skin tightening if money is no object. Nothing really shrinks fat in one place without risk and the only methods that come close involve poisons that destroy the cells or extreme temperatures which can cause harm. Treatments that try to wipe out fat cells worry me because when the body runs out of places to store fat it tends to push excess into the liver and raise blood glucose instead and disorders that wipe out fat cells in patches already show the same metabolic trouble so there is no reason to expect these approaches would avoid it either. Getting rid of the cells might seem appealing at first but it often creates issues down the line.

I figured I needed to drop some extra pounds by hitting the weights regularly so the loss would come from fat rather than muscle. At one hundred seventy seven pounds and five foot nine I knew some body fat would probably remain unless my conditioning was already solid.

Even substances meant only to raise growth hormone carry comparable downsides for me. Certain releasers, alone or combined, push my fasting glucose readings higher the next morning. Typical effects tied to growth hormone vary with amount used, product quality, and personal response. Some notice hand numbness from non-pharmaceutical versions but not from approved ones. At higher doses a few require extra glucose control agents while others do fine without them. People prescribed large daily amounts for muscle wasting often keep blood sugar steady without further help. Level checks mainly confirm if the product is real or fake. Modest amounts for fat reduction do not require concern over normal ranges. Benefits disappear without steady effort during and after use, just as happens with other compounds. In my experience these options add nothing unless a true deficiency exists or every other factor like nutrition and training is already dialed in. Fewer substances and more consistent work produce better results overall.

My lower abdominal fat seems to be reducing gradually, and I can notice some faint muscle definition appearing there. The crunches along with small dumbbell exercises are likely contributing positively. I'm keeping my dose around six to eight milligrams based on what the scale shows each time, with my weight varying by just one or two pounds between weekly checks. Overall, things are staying steady.

Yeah, I get that you didn't bring it up, but the notion just seemed odd and amusing to me. My whole reason for trying GH was to help bounce back faster after training. It's difficult to know whether this is only in my head, yet it feels like I'm handling tougher sessions and doing them more often. Those loaded cable twists have led to the strongest core definition I've managed so far.

I really appreciate you posting about this! 🫶 It matches precisely what I had been curious about. This definitely seems to match body recomposition since the abdominal fat continues to reduce gradually even though the scale number isn't changing much. Plus those crunches and mild dumbbell routines must be contributing as well.

Dude that notorious peptide linked to kidney damage the guy acted like a total fool and test subject downing a whole container daily of the compound. Just saw a film about his story and even though he trained hard on his physique his handling of enhancers plus other substances was totally careless. What the hell.

IronKettle44archive6h

Man, I went deep researching that experimental compound before touching any myself. This bodybuilder got way too aggressive dosing it daily and wrecked his kidneys in weeks, dropping filtration rates way low. He totally destroyed his renal function. How did you track down that alternate version? Never mind, glad it worked out. A young athlete collapsed from a tear in his main artery after heavy use of enhancers and research chemicals, with that fat targeting peptide tied directly to his organs shutting down and reaching end stage kidney issues.

I saw those early lab findings from the 2026 talk on pairing the approach with certain receptor-based slimming treatments. Not clear yet whether people will show the same results. I'm also wondering if the method leaves the darker fat untouched. Nobody seems to have looked into that so far.

Appreciate the response. Assuming this method cuts down on liver fat buildup while boosting metabolic function, it seems worthwhile. It's puzzling why similar treatments lead to complications yet this one does not, but data pointing to gains instead of setbacks would back it up. I haven't checked if findings from rodents translate directly to people, so holding off for human trials could make sense.

Wow, that upcoming option looks promising enough for me to try once it's out. Most folks claim research shows belly fat around organs drops quickest and simplest, yet what I've seen myself runs counter to that. Plenty of the layer under my skin disappeared from everywhere, but the midsection pouch refuses to budge. Along with one medication and then another at modest amounts, I've kept up with a third substance across 18 weeks, and the digital reader shows every reading in the good or ideal range except the organ fat level, which remains above normal.

I stumbled across existing records from people that cover fat around the organs. Those came from reviewing scans taken during an earlier trial round. Looks like the action reaches past the spot where it's applied. Still wondering about the process behind it.
