Low dose titration experiences for appetite suppression and fat loss with peptide combinations

58 replies21 peopleApr 1, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

What results and protocols are users seeing with low-dose titration for appetite suppression and body recomposition, including related peptides and sides?

Users report strong appetite suppression at 2-5 mg with visible stomach fat reduction but stalled scale weight, attributed to muscle gain from high protein intake. Dosing follows gradual titration with each level held for four weeks alongside 1500 kcal meal plans where hunger feels like a physical deficit. Combinations such as tesa plus ipa for fat loss and DSIP for sleep are discussed, with minor sides like heartburn reported by some but absent in others.

Height 180 cm, weight 95 kg. Will update this post with progress each week if I can. Hey everyone, my 5 mg reta arrived today. I opened it and it looks pretty standard, though the packaging was surprisingly discreet, like it was something else entirely. I mixed one 5 mg vial with 2 ml bac water. After an hour in the fridge it stayed clear compared to a dry vial, which was reassuring since cloudiness is supposed to be a bad sign. I injected 0.20 ml or 20 units into my belly fat using a 30 g 0.3 x 13 mm needle, which works out to 0.5 mg. The needle felt a bit long but it was what was available and my stomach has plenty of fat so it seems fine. This is my first injection ever and I meant to do just 0.5 mg but got excited and went straight for the full 0.20 ml. Writing this about an hour later and I don't feel anything yet.

Many have already recorded this so it would interest others to view the updates provided. Several hours later slight queasiness appeared initially which was probably only an intense indication against consuming anything. That discomfort disappeared after a couple hours. Plenty of fluids were important and including fiber if present worked better during this period. Control over consumption came naturally. Physical activity continued with strength training whenever feasible. After that the body mass began decreasing noticeably.

Congratulations on starting reta. I've never seen stealth packaging so this is very cool to see.

Yeah it was like beauty product packaging with the sticker on the opening and all.

PlainAlder11archiveApr 1

Good deal. What's the liquid, BAC? Any reason for the 5 mg vials, just to try? FYI I started at 2 mg.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 1
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11

Yep that fluid is BAC and came from the same source. Folks recommend sticking with one particular brand yet getting it proved challenging so I went with the more convenient choice. The bottles are ten milliliters each. Opted for the five milligram versions due to their lower cost so that a scam would involve minimal loss. The complete set arrived with transport included at a total I consider decent. Really thrilled with the final amount spent.

PlainAlder11archiveApr 1
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25

I figured as much, smart. Great price. I started with 10 mg for the same reason. I now have 72 vials from 24-60 mg and may add 20 more because of a friend. I heard that brand is a pain to get there.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 1
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11

If everything goes smoothly here I'm considering getting larger amounts later on to build up a low cost supply since I expect the official version to end up much pricier once released.

Way to go, that sharp part looks like it'll work if you give it a bit of a tilt.

WryLedger77archiveApr 1

Wow, finally holding it and trying that opening shot feels thrilling! During my very first attempt at dosing I noticed brief spells of lightheadedness along with queasiness from time to time. Taking a tall drink of water made those sensations fade fast. The drop in hunger showed up strongly almost right away for me and I wish the same quick effect in your case. All the best!

After mixing five milligrams into two milliliters, pulling twenty units delivered half a milligram, which lined up with the starting amount I had planned.

PlainAlder11archiveApr 1
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25

That's pretty much how I see the stock situation too. Since money isn't an issue, I figure why not go for it. There's this weird thrill I get from making purchases that seems kind of twisted. Maybe I've got an issue here. Lol

PlainAlder11archiveApr 1
↳ replying to @WryLedger77

Probably just nerves making the whole thing seem worse. Years back I used to deliver shots to pets on a regular basis, though never to my partner or myself. The task felt straightforward, and she realized that from my earlier work with needles.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 1

Thanks all for the congrats!

IronThistle67archiveApr 1

I loved going through the changes and ended up really liking my updated self.

BlueCinder33archiveApr 4

That's awesome. I wonder what kind of results you are seeing from it.

CopperAlder25archiveApr 4

I have a strong feeling this will go smoothly for you. I made notes on the calories I took in each day, arranged for some bloodwork, and measured my fat percentage plus muscle mass to serve as a comparison point.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 4

I'll do some kind of weekly report too. But Norway has only 5.5 million people so they don't have everything like big countries. That's too hard. I'm quite big so I don't mind losing half muscle.

WarmAlder80archiveApr 4

Ha, looks like we both picked up our cosmetic items from that identical retailer. Mine showed up packed inside the matching container. What a clever approach!

LevelSignal46archiveApr 4

Excited to see the follow up posts. I will make sure to choose nutritious options with quality carbohydrates and protein too.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 10

First week check-in. I began midweek but plan to post these on Fridays going forward. So this opening one stretches a little past seven days while future ones should line up exactly.
Started at 94.5 kg in the afternoon. Switched to morning weigh-ins right after using the bathroom so the numbers now sit lower by roughly half a kilo. Previous reading came in at 94.5 kg or 208.3 lbs. Latest sits at 93.3 kg or 205.7 lbs for a drop of 1.2 kg or 2.7 lbs.
Dosing split into two 0.5 mg shots each week one on Tuesday morning around six and the other on Friday evening near six. Figured the six-day half-life made twice-weekly timing more even than a single larger shot. The choice also came from starting with just 0.5 mg on Wednesday and then wanting a quicker response so another half-milligram kept the total at one milligram across seven days. The spacing works out to about three and a half days between the two times.
Had no clue what the first 0.5 mg dose would feel like. Injected Wednesday night then skipped food all Thursday and found appetite stayed quiet. Halfway through that day a strong headache hit which turned out to be from skipping fluids. Two glasses later my stomach felt overloaded and queasy so I rested an hour until it passed. Kept the fast going but hunger returned Friday afternoon around one so I ate normally around twenty-five hundred calories. Added the second 0.5 mg that evening. Saturday stayed at similar intake. Sunday appetite eased to about fifteen hundred calories. Monday dropped further to a thousand. By then the lack of food thoughts confirmed the substance was active. Still noticed a mild bodily restlessness after long stretches without eating but nothing like actual cravings or urges. That background irritation could be ignored yet it left a slight edge. Tuesday brought another shot and higher intake again near twenty-five hundred calories. Wednesday landed around two thousand and Thursday back near fifteen hundred. Today reached fifteen hundred by early evening with the next shot already taken.
Next steps involve moving up to 1.5 mg total per week split the same way. Several days lately saw intake climb back toward maintenance levels and a steadier lower calorie pattern would help reach the target before summer travel. Might hold at that level for a few weeks before considering any further increase.
After those first four weeks another two compounds have been lined up for nightly use five days on and weekends off. That addition could pair with a slightly higher weekly total of the first substance.

CopperLedger65archiveApr 12

Grateful you posted about your method. Beginning with Reta myself since I want body recomposition instead of just dropping pounds. Currently using 140mg weekly of TRT. Curious about your results combining Tesa and Ipamorelin.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 12
↳ replying to @CopperLedger65

Online videos suggest cycles lasting two or three months with five straight days of use then two full days off. Blend the two compounds so the main one stays at twice or three times the amount of the other, like one milligram with half a milligram or one with roughly a third. Take the dose each night right before bed after avoiding meals for at least three hours. The research they mention uses about one point four milligrams but my own plan sticks to one.

AmberAlder58archiveApr 12
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25

People often pick their own routines for this sort of thing and I see nothing odd about it. My schedule for the pair runs on a full half-year stretch every day straight. The pattern with breaks appears aimed mostly at cutting expenses and lacks much support from studies. I use two milligrams of the first item plus two hundred micrograms of the second one each time. Anything near the short end probably would not produce clear gains from what I have noticed. All the same no approach counts as mistaken and each person sorts out what fits their targets money situation and starting point. By the way that write-up on the other substance looks solid and I plan to keep track of the results.

PatientTimber45archiveApr 12

Taking my time with changes worked out fine for me. I avoided raising the amount too fast and kept it at the same level for a full month sometimes before any further increase.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 13
↳ replying to @AmberAlder58

I recall hearing about needing two or three months before noticing any changes. I'm halting my current run after forty days since a six week trip is coming up soon. Once that's over I'll restart with a longer cycle exceeding ninety days. Many online creators mention the five on two off schedule because the off days supposedly let the system recover and prevent tolerance buildup. Anyway plenty of people seem to get good outcomes from that approach so it works for me at the moment. What kind of experience have you had combining those two peptides? Are you stacking them alongside the other one too? What kind of outcomes did you get? Absolutely! My plan involves keeping the weekly amount under two milligrams for a minimum of four weeks. Since I began with one milligram I'm considering increasing to one point five already during this week. After that I'll hold steady at one point five through the rest of the month. Even with most of the hunger signals suppressed I find it pretty simple to consume more than intended sometimes.

AmberTimber37archiveApr 13

I'm currently taking 4 milligrams of Reta each week plus 1 milligram of Tesa daily on a schedule of five days active followed by two days off. I didn't add Tesa at the very start though I figure it wouldn't have mattered either way. This morning the scale read 198 pounds which equals 90 kilograms and I'm amazed because my top weight reached 262 pounds or 119 kilograms. My aim is close to 190. Overeating hasn't caused me trouble but I still feel bad about the quantity I take in and that feels strange. Even with that the pounds keep falling away. Across the months the weekly dose moved from 2 up through 3 then 4 5 and back to 4.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 13
↳ replying to @AmberTimber37

Glad you shared that! Realizing I'm eating too much by depending on the medication to handle every issue, so any minor frustration sends me straight to snacks. Need to correct the pattern and use the lack of cravings by pushing myself stricter. Spent time reflecting and motivated myself to stay tougher going forward. Tolerate some irritation to get full benefit from it. The medication isn't meant to manage everything alone. Notice any clear change after adding the second one compared to using only the first?

KeenAlder60archiveApr 13
↳ replying to @PatientTimber45

I kept the amount unchanged across four weeks. Definitely.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 13
↳ replying to @KeenAlder60

I'm wondering what to do if the results don't seem strong enough. Would it still make sense to keep the amount the same for a full month anyway?

WarmQuill25archiveApr 17

My results after two weeks leave me pretty disappointed. Thoughts about eating aren't popping up, yet actual appetite still shows up. Once I start a meal it tastes great and portions end up close to what I usually take in. I figure the low weekly amount is the reason. I've chosen to move up to twice that amount each week, matching the level used at the start of studies showing the strongest drops in body mass. I'll stick with one shot per week just like those studies did.
My scale reading moved from 93.3 kg to 94.3 kg, so a full kilo higher. That surprised me, though my midsection seems a little leaner and firmer, so maybe it's just shifts in fluid.
I took the new weekly amount late Friday. Over the weekend both days landed near three thousand calories, which felt high. Monday dropped to one thousand, which seemed unusually low. Tuesday sat at fifteen hundred and felt reasonable. Wednesday reached two thousand, still acceptable but close to the edge. Thursday and today both hit twenty-five hundred, right around upkeep level.
I'll stay at the new weekly amount for three or four weeks and see if it brings steadier smaller meals and actual downward movement on the scale. Right now four days out of seven still feel like ordinary eating, which works over months but doesn't feel simple. Hopefully the increase will change that.

SlowLantern46archiveApr 17
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25 (opening post)

Starting out a lower dose seemed okay during the first seven days. By the second week though half a milligram works fine for me and keeps my eating fully in check.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 18
↳ replying to @SlowLantern46

That's awesome to hear cause that's so cheap lol.

PlainAlder11archiveApr 18

So you've done 2 weeks at 2 mg?

WarmQuill25archiveApr 19
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11

I began with a small dose of 1 milligram during the initial seven days, followed by an increase to 1.5 milligrams in the next period. Currently entering the third week, I've moved up to 2 milligrams with a single shot each Friday. This adjustment came about since the outcomes fell short of what I had hoped for. Rather than sticking to a personal schedule, I'm now matching the approach used in the studies, which involves maintaining 2 milligrams over four weeks before increasing to 4 milligrams. The shots remain once per week.

PlainAlder11archiveApr 20
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25

Same but at 6 now with 6 mg. Seems to still be working.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 22
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11

I'm glad to see that. It works for me here too, and I'm located in Norway. I had worries about it earlier, yet everything went smoothly on my end.

BlueCinder70archiveApr 22

That was a really thorough write-up. What kind of appetite are you noticing exactly, and do you follow any kind of eating schedule? I began at half a milligram each week, later dividing it into two smaller portions, but settled on three of those smaller portions as the right amount. My system tends to adjust after around three weeks, at which point I raise the size of each portion by another quarter milligram. Doing it gradually lets me keep cravings manageable, quiet the constant thoughts about food, and still benefit from the glucagon action. I follow a rigid schedule of four meals daily. Hunger builds predictably as each mealtime nears, though it is not sudden or hard to resist, and it fades once I eat. I prefer that it does not shut down appetite the way the other options do, since the body still needs fuel to keep energy levels up and hold on to muscle.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 23
↳ replying to @BlueCinder70

Hey, thanks for the detailed reply on your approach. The hunger I'm getting isn't the mental kind where I'm constantly thinking about food or planning the next meal. It's more of a physical sensation in the stomach area that feels irritated and slightly painful. From past cuts without any peptides I know this as the feeling that comes with a calorie deficit. Even without food noise I still end up eating because of it. When I do eat I can handle bigger portions without issue. All of that was on just 1 mg weekly. Last week I moved up to 2 mg and the change is noticeable. Now a 200-300 kcal meal keeps me satisfied for 3-4 hours so I end up eating three or four times a day for roughly 1200-1500 kcal total. On 1 mg I didn't follow any set plan and just watched what happened naturally. With 2 mg I'm now eating four times a day, sometimes three.

WarmQuill25archiveApr 24

WEEK 3 UPDATE Really pleased with how this week went. Appetite suppression kicked in strongly after the 2 mg shot last Friday and was solid from Sunday onward through today. WEIGHT Last week 94.3 kg now 90.7 kg for a drop of 3.6 kg. Hard to believe the scale moved almost 8 lbs and I wonder if last week's single Friday reading was off. This week I weighed daily from Monday so the current 90.7 kg feels accurate. PROTOCOL 2.0 mg reta Friday evening. DIARY Saturday around 2500 kcal then Sunday I fasted the whole day. Monday was about 1000 kcal of protein plus psyllium husk and I kept that pattern of three or four protein-and-fiber meals through Wednesday. Thursday I added kidney beans for more fiber.

WarmQuill25archiveMay 8

WEEK 5 UPDATE Skipped last week's update because of a short vacation over the long weekend. Stomach fat looks like it's coming down but the scale stayed flat. WEIGHT Last week 90.7 kg now 91.4 kg for a gain of 0.7 kg. No idea why the number moved up when belly fat is clearly less. Maybe a bit of muscle or water retention. PROTOCOL First 3 mg shot this Friday evening. I stayed at 2 mg until now but want stronger satiety. DIARY Chicken breast three times a day with a teaspoon of psyllium husk each time plus one higher-fat meal of beef or eggs. That should land around 1500-1800 kcal and a 500 kcal deficit.

WarmQuill25archiveMay 15

WEEK 6 UPDATE WEIGHT stayed exactly the same at 91.4 kg. Strange given the consistent 500-1000 kcal daily deficit. The only explanation that fits is that I'm adding some muscle from the high protein intake over 140 g a day. PROTOCOL Moved to 4 mg this Friday evening. The 3 mg dose gave the best hunger control I've had in the six weeks so far and I could have stayed there for steady slow loss. Expecting even better results at 4 mg. DIARY Added white rice to some meals while keeping chicken breast as the base. Still calorie counting and staying under 1500 kcal daily against a maintenance of 2200-2500. PLANS Keep 4 mg for the next four weeks and start adding cardio to help the weight come down.

ClearQuill72archiveMay 15

Good luck with the log. I'm only on week 4 myself and the appetite control plus drop in food noise has been solid so far. I'll keep following your updates. Keeping my own stack minimal right now so I can see exactly what reta is doing before adding anything else.

WarmQuill25archiveMay 15
↳ replying to @SlowLedger21

It was actually the 3 mg dose that gave great hunger suppression. The scale just didn't move. I still think the protein is helping build some muscle at the same time. Starting low at 0.5 mg and stepping up through 1, 2, and 3 mg before adding tesa plus ipa worked well and the suppression showed up at each level. Maintenance on 1-2 mg seems realistic with maybe a pound lost per month. The vivid dreams from tesa plus ipa are real and I enjoy them a lot.

ClearQuill72archiveMay 15
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25

No sides so far. How are you finding tesa and ipa? I'm curious about adding something for recovery and nighttime HGH support. DSIP has been decent but I'm still figuring out the right dose. A lot of people mention tesa for body composition and recovery so it's on my radar. The CJC no DAC plus IPA combo also comes up a lot for sleep. Biggest benefits you've noticed so far in recovery, sleep, or physique?

WarmQuill25archiveMay 16
↳ replying to @ClearQuill72

Only on the second week of tesa plus ipa so far, mainly noticing the vivid dreams. Using it for stomach fat loss specifically. Haven't looked much into the recovery side you mentioned. DSIP is new to me. I'm still pretty new to peptides overall. Watched some stuff on CJC plus IPA and it sounded basically the same as tesa but cheaper. Since tesa is already reasonable I went with that and the talk around it is louder. Plan is to try tesa first then maybe test CJC next year once I'm more familiar. Most people say they're pretty close anyway. Recovery isn't a big need for me because my training uses long rests and low reps. I just train to stay fit rather than for size. What's your main goal with the peptides? Sounds like recovery is a priority so maybe more lifting focused?

ClearQuill72archiveMay 17
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25

Vivid dreams are the thing everyone keeps mentioning with tesa plus ipa. The tesa versus CJC plus IPA debate seems endless with both sides convinced theirs is better. More people do seem to highlight tesa for visceral fat and body composition which is why it interests me. My goals are a mix of body composition, recovery, sleep quality, inflammation, and long-term health. Still training hard at 38 so optimizing recovery without stacking too many things at once is the aim. DSIP is Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide, mostly discussed for deeper sleep. Lower doses have been working better for me so far.

WarmQuill25archiveMay 17
↳ replying to @ClearQuill72

Why DSIP for sleep? Do you normally have trouble sleeping? How's it working and would you recommend it? About to place another order and looking to add a few things.

ClearQuill72archiveMay 17
↳ replying to @WarmQuill25

Started it because I often wake around 3 am and then can't get back to sleep. Still testing the dose but it seems to help me stay asleep longer rather than extend total sleep time. When I do wake up it feels easier to drift off again instead of lying there for an hour. Too early to recommend confidently but it's been interesting enough to keep trying.
