First thing I'd check is whether you're actually tracking calories. Too many and weight won't move, but too big a deficit can also stall things because the body thinks it's starving and holds onto fat. Your existing conditions might be playing a role too. Regular bloodwork would show what's going on inside. If calories look reasonable and bloods are fine, no reason not to try 7 mg and see how it goes from there.
Started looking into Reta back in November and went from 250 pounds down thirty so far. Just over fifty with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Took the slow route with dosing but hit a three-month plateau. Stayed at 4 mg for a stretch with gradual drops, then did 5 mg across ten weeks, and four weeks ago moved to 6 mg with still no movement. Wondering if I should just jump straight to 8 mg instead of following the every-four-weeks schedule because of my health background. Small steps feel like they're costing more without getting anywhere. Any thoughts from folks who've been through it?
