What peptides do you guys use for anxiety ? Pinealon?

Summary

Which peptides help with anxiety and how do they compare to other options?

Users report mixed experiences with Selank, Semax, PE 22-28 and Pinealon for anxiety relief, noting individual responses and that some peptides mainly target stress or focus rather than core anxiety. Several mention non-peptide alternatives like propranolol, SSRIs or antihistamines that worked better for them personally, while others combine tools instead of relying on one compound. No single peptide stands out as reliably effective across the group.

Hello, right now I'm taking Selank to manage anxiety but don't want to stay on it indefinitely so I'm looking to try a different peptide that can ease anxiety instead. Has anyone had good results with other options? I already know about PE 22-28, P21 and Semax but they seem geared more toward mental clarity issues. I haven't used Pinealon yet though it seems promising for the stress part of anxiety.

Thanks for the suggestion but beta blockers aren't something I want to go with.

I'm seeing a lot of ads for this in gummy form on social media. Still sorting out sources myself but can I ask if you're getting it through a local doctor or another kind of provider?

Gummies really are being made for everything these days.

I don't think any peptide really hits the right pathways hard enough to cut anxiety in a major way. That's why the stronger anxiety compounds tend to carry bigger risks and can backfire.

Is there a reason you're looking for a peptide instead of trying a standard clinical treatment like an SSRI?

PE 22-28 gave me strong results. I got it for possible depression relief and after about six weeks I notice quick mental relief with no more stomach pit from worries, no racing thoughts or overthinking, and less choice paralysis. It seems to do what I hoped Adamax or Semax would, so take that with a grain of salt. It also helped me start tasks and quiet my mind.

Semax has been the best for me so far while Selank barely does anything. Everyone reacts differently so you have to test for yourself. I'm trying Oxytocin at the moment. I don't have much anxiety but job stress is high and Semax helps a lot with that. Being on a GLP-1 also seems to lower drive for things besides food so Semax helps there too by raising dopamine. Oxytocin in the afternoons is giving a pleasant relaxed feeling after just two days.

I use this thing called meat, which is protein.

I just want something without too many side effects. My anxiety isn't severe, it just comes and goes and feels a bit stronger than for most people. With my interest in these peptides I figured why not give them a try.

I had quite a bit of anxiety at one point and nothing the doctors gave helped, in fact most made it worse. Benzos worked but only as a short-term option because of addiction risk. Semax works well for me and the nasal spray version is popular.

Got it. I'm a former pharmacy tech so I know a fair bit about meds. Not a peptide but some doctors prescribe antihistamines like Benadryl for anxiety since if you're asleep you're not anxious.

Hydroxyzine works for allergies but didn't do much for my anxiety and it knocks you out fast.

I keep beta blockers on hand for big presentations but recently made my own Selank nasal spray and it gives me a very similar effect. It was unexpected so not placebo. One spray morning and afternoon at work does it for me.

ClearQuill84archiveMay 27

I've been on Semax since Monday with just three 0.5 mg shots so far. Can't say I'm more focused but I do feel more unwound and relaxed. With only three shots it could be placebo or just the nice weather we've had lately, so I'll keep going and report back.

It's been used in Russia for twenty years and available over the counter for seven so there's lots of anecdotal reports. Good luck though everyone responds differently.

Yeah I know the background on Semax which is why I wanted to try it. Hope it makes me a bit sharper too.

Haha I'd like that too. Right now I'm just happy it keeps me calmer when stress hits.

Yeah same feeling here. But it might not be the Semax itself given the current weather so I'll know more after at least two weeks.

It probably depends on how strong and what kind of anxiety you're dealing with. I do use peptides but without a low dose of Sertraline I'm just not myself. It takes the edge off my busy brain and I'm a better person on it. My anxiety feels like a constant ticker tape of thoughts, lists and worries. These compounds help with pieces like sleep or stress but haven't replaced what the medication does for nervous system balance. Combining tools works better for me than expecting one thing to fix everything.

Can confirm. Half a Benadryl slows me down enough to take the edge off an anxiety spike while still letting me function. My doctor suggested it when I didn't want benzos.

Have you tried turning the Semax into a nasal spray? I read it's more effective that way and can confirm it works well for me.

ClearQuill84archiveMay 27

Haven't tried that. There are lots of opinions on nasal sprays versus injections but some people find the opposite. It seems individual in the end. One thing is clear that the spray acts fast but doesn't last as long. Kind of like the charlie versus crack debate.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll have to add PE 22-28 to my next order then.
