I went onto a low dose of Tirz for maintenance to keep food noise under control and expect to stay on it long term because it noticeably improves how I feel day to day. The better approach seems to be finding the smallest dose that keeps weight stable once you near your goal, then either lowering further or spacing shots out more. Moving from Reta to Tirz could also be worth considering since it appears gentler overall and carries extra health upsides. A long-term plan makes sense because people who simply quit GLPs usually regain the weight. Losing both fat and muscle on the way down, then regaining mostly fat on the way back up, is common and not ideal for health.
Hello everyone, three months into my Reta run and everything feels solid so far. Down 7 kg, hitting calorie and protein targets, lifting five days a week plus cardio. All systems are working well right now. Still, I keep wondering what it will be like to eventually come off these injections, whether it is retatrutide, semaglutide or tirzepatide. Hunger is the big one people mention, saying it returns hard and food thoughts become constant. Was that your experience and how intense was it? Also curious how you actually stopped, cold turkey or by lowering the dose or stretching the time between shots. Finally, how has weight held up since you quit, any rebound, how long have you been off, and what helped with the changeover?
