I'm leaning toward retatrutide for body recomposition because of the study results and many positive reports I've come across. Muscle loss is still my main worry though. I've tried to read up on how it works, at least the three pathways, and it looks better than other GLP drugs for holding onto muscle, but it's hard to separate confident personal stories from actual research. People keep saying it doesn't mix with very low carb eating and might even be risky, yet nothing I've seen sounds like more than gym talk. Others claim you need certain extra peptides or you'll drop muscle no matter how much protein and lifting you do. I'm not interested in adding those. Does anyone have real retatrutide-specific research on macros or solid habits that help keep muscle while cutting fat on this drug? If not, even decent long-term personal experiences would help.
