Research from four registered experiments done in Belgium America and Britain indicates folks on obesity meds get seen as trying less hard so they end up rated lower in ethics skill friendliness and value than those skipping the meds. The results hint that putting a premium on effort could feed into bias. Negative feelings toward slimming drugs aren't unexpected yet judging the people who take them as less ethical capable and worthy comes across as pretty unfortunate.
