AOD-9604 Cloudy but not gelling

11 replies6 peopleJul 5, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Why does AOD-9604 turn cloudy with particles during reconstitution and what mixing order or technique fixes it?

Multiple reconstitution attempts with different sequences of BAC water and acetic acid all produced cloudiness or clumps in most vials. Some users report success with room-temperature powder, slow angled addition of BAC only, and gentle rolling, while others say shaking makes no difference and the compound itself rarely works. The original poster tested every common method across five vials and still saw issues except in the final two attempts.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether gentle rolling is required or if shaking harms the peptide; whether cloudiness indicates a bad batch or just technique

Whether the final two clearer vials will stay stable or produce any effects once used

New here and to peptides. Got some AOD-9604 and ran into the usual mixing problems. Started with fresh BAC water and 0.6 percent acetic acid. Tried five separate 5 mg vials in 3 ml vials. The same BAC water worked fine on the other two peptides that came with it. After 48 hours: vial 1 got 2.5 ml BAC first, big particles stayed so added 0.5 ml acetic and it went very cloudy with small floaters; the water shot in fast because of poor plunger control. Vial 2 got 0.5 ml acetic first then 2.5 ml BAC and ended up with big clumps and very cloudy. Vial 3 got 0.6 ml acetic first then 2.4 ml BAC and still had large clumps with slight cloudiness. Vial 4 got 3 ml BAC only and had no floaters.

Not an expert but I have mixed several 5 mg AOD vials without cloud or floaters by adding 2.5 ml BAC to the 3 ml vial. Did you let the vials sit 15-20 minutes to reach room temperature first? Did the powder look like a uniform white or off-white cake with no extra clumping or yellow tint? For the later vials did the BAC go in slowly down the side? Did you roll the vials gently or shake them? Also why mix five vials before checking? Particles are not supposed to be there; it should end up crystal clear. Filtering might remove them but I wonder

Never managed to reconstitute it right no matter how I combined BAC and AA and never saw any results from it either. There are better fat burners so I will not buy it again.

The idea that you must not shake them is a myth.

Put the AA in first so the powder can start dissolving then add the BAC water.

Fair point. I only got the AOD for the fat loss plus joint repair angle. AOD plus the other one should help with old knee issues. If the mixing problems keep happening I will switch to the other options instead.

I tried rolling it between my hands, gentle swirling, and turning it upside down then right side up. Did not shake any of them.

Tried that on vials 2 and 3 and got the worst results. Used 0.5 ml AA on vial 2 and 0.6 ml on vial 3. Added the AA, rolled until it stopped dissolving (it never fully did), then added the BAC. It was about five minutes not one.

No expert but never had issues with my AOD. Let the vial sit 30 minutes to reach room temp, then add 3 ml BAC slowly at an angle with no AA, and roll between the hands. Because the BAC is cold I let the mixed vial sit another 10 minutes and roll again to finish dissolving anything left.

The myth is that the gentle rolling step is needed.

I shook one anyway. Did not improve anything.

The founder of the testing lab has said shaking does not affect small molecules like peptides.
