PT-141 dosage for wife libido boost and side effects like nausea

The original poster asked about giving his wife 1 mg of PT-141 for libido and whether a lower starting dose would reduce nausea. Multiple replies focused on the need for her explicit consent and self-administration rather than any dosing details. Several users shared personal accounts of flushing, overheating, and nausea at low doses, leading some to stop use. The thread repeatedly stressed legal risks of injecting others and the importance of clear phrasing in such discussions.

My wife is at the stage where a libido boost would help and someone suggested 1 mg of PT-141. Will that work and will nausea happen? Would starting at 0.5 mg be better? Any thoughts appreciated.

Injecting anything raises issues far beyond nausea. A severe allergic reaction could lead to major legal consequences like felony murder or manslaughter charges. Has anyone obtained Epi Pens as protection against anaphylaxis and how did they go about it? Is there a reliable telehealth option for a prescription?

Can the original poster please confirm this is being explored with her full knowledge and consent and that he is only saving her the research work which he plans to share? The possibility that might not be true did not occur to me until it was mentioned but now it is hard to ignore.

In the UK the legal exposure in a worst-case fatal scenario differs from the US where simply providing a drug can result in felony murder charges.

Even if she survives there is still the nightmare of her not being consulted at all. I would prefer any similar conversation to open with a clear statement that she is interested and he is only researching on her behalf.

A custom-blended prescription cream from a compounding pharmacy might be worth trying instead. My wife tried a small amount borrowed from her sister and it produced the desired effect.

Even with consent no one should be injecting an unprescribed substance into anyone else, spouse included. In the UK at least self-injection demonstrates personal intent and breaks any chain of custody.

I am taking a day off from this discussion of extreme outcomes. I will try anything three times.

LevelPebble75archiveJan 26

I would feel more comfortable replying if your wife posted herself. I would not like my husband discussing my libido on a forum.

SteadyQuill55archiveJan 26

I will not answer any further questions until the original poster confirms this has already been attempted.

Too late once it is posted it stays posted although I did edit the quote out of mercy.

Fine I am not sorry and I stand by the comment even if it risks a three-day suspension.

These situations are the very reason my unions break apart with the same regularity that they form.

If she has given full consent she should begin at a very low dose because the physical effects might alarm her. I began at 0.25 mg and within ten minutes felt flushed and overheated as though sunburned. The heat was uncomfortable and I felt anxious yet giggly on the way to dinner. The effects faded by the end of the meal despite claims of a longer half-life.

Actually I was the one who edited it out of mercy so he never saw the original. Now he will because the mention summoned him and edits are visible.

At least you stay consistent which is useful when dealing with recreational peptide use.

My moderation approach is to intervene as little as possible so when action is needed it will not be pleasant. As my father used to say do not make me turn this car around.

I was asking on behalf of my wife because she is not a member here. She told me about it and I asked what it was and whether she had researched it. I would never give her anything without discussion. She obtained it herself and I only wanted reliable dose information to pass along. She will administer it herself as an adult and it is her decision. I was simply hoping for useful advice to share with her.

SlowPebble83archiveJan 26

She should begin with a very low dose and increase gradually. My wife used 1 mg rather than the higher clinical amount and within fifteen minutes became very flushed and reached for antihistamine. Although flushing is common it was severe enough that there was no further interest and she said she would never try it again. A much lower starting amount may be advisable.

Thanks for the information that does not sound enjoyable.

I sent a private message. I am female and have used PT-141 more than once.

The usual advice is to begin with a low dose such as 0.5 mg to check tolerance. At that level the negative effects may appear without the intended benefits. Various sites discuss dosing schedules and can be found by searching the forum though some are no longer named. Use no more than twice weekly to avoid receptor desensitization. After experiencing flushing and nausea many users lose interest in continuing. Oxytocin is another substance worth considering for the bonding aspect. The initial caution from the forum was understandable given the wording. Phrases about giving a grey-market substance to someone else tend to raise alarms whether the recipient is a spouse or anyone else. Starting with a statement that the wife had already purchased it would likely have produced a different reaction.
