Please only answer if you started to have less food noise and hunger after 3mg

Summary

retatrutide food noise and hunger suppression starting at 3mg after switching from tirzepatide

Users report mixed early results with retatrutide at low doses like 2-3mg after stopping tirzepatide. Some see appetite effects improve only after reaching 4-6mg or higher, while others note that tirzepatide may handle noise better and that retatrutide takes several weeks to build up. Individual responses vary widely and stacking or slower titration is common.

Looking only for people who noticed reduced food noise and hunger once they reached 3mg. I switched over from mounjaro after using 3.75 weekly. My reta run started with .25 then .5 then another .5 then 1mg before I stopped and jumped to 2mg. The first two weeks on 2mg felt great with almost no noise or hunger but the last week plus this one the cravings returned. I took 3mg on Friday yet still feel hungry though it fades once I eat. Will this settle down or has anyone gone through the same and later got solid appetite control without adding other compounds?

I did three weeks at 2mg split into 1mg doses then one week at 3mg split 1.5mg and moved to 4mg last Wednesday also split. Through all of it I have had almost no food noise low hunger and zero side effects. I have seen others mention hunger returning after a dose increase but it seems to pass for most. Maybe wait one more week to check if it eases. I would stay at 3mg for now if it were me.

Your question is very narrow for what is actually going on. What led you to stop the tirzepatide? You know the drug was probably still active for those first two weeks after you quit so it may have helped with the early suppression. Was the reta batch tested? I combine both and find the tirzepatide part handles noise better so if that is your main goal I wonder why switch at all.

More reta usually means less noise and hunger. Doses from .25 to 1mg do almost nothing if you still have weight to lose. Adding another GLP like sema or tirz on top of reta is pretty normal here. I have gone as high as 20mg reta weekly with .25 sema and hunger stays manageable though noise can still bother you. You still need to eat and that is fine. Reta remains the strongest weight loss option statistically when the dose is high enough.

I never had that issue even at 10mg and still do not on a 6mg maintenance dose. What you said lines up with my experience.

SharpTimber80archiveAug 24

I have kept some food noise on reta the whole time but my appetite is still reduced. Around 6mg it started feeling stronger and now I am at 9mg. Results differ for everyone though.

My partner made the exact same switch recently so I am curious about other results too. Early effects were good then things leveled off but it has not been long and the doses are still low.

I know you asked only for 3mg experiences but I went through something close. Started at .5mg and it changed everything at first then after six weeks the effect faded and noise returned. Went up to 1mg nothing changed after two weeks tried 1.5mg still flat. Now dosing 1.75 every five days instead of weekly and it feels noticeably better.

Noise and hunger are not the same. I still get hungry sometimes but the noise is mostly gone. Once I start eating I fill up faster than before. The compound also needs four or more weeks to reach steady levels so two weeks at a dose is not enough to judge it. I stayed six weeks at 2mg then six at 3mg and now four weeks into 4mg only moving up when loss stalls. My wife saw nothing until 3mg while still on 15mg tirz stacked and her loss only became steady at 4mg reta.

The same effect can go either way. It has lowered my anxiety completely and reduced the urge to masturbate yet when I am with my partner drive stays very high.

CopperHarbour89archiveAug 25

Not trying to put you off I just want to get it. Why add reta while you were still on tirz for those first weeks?

Those sound like normal signs of being a straight guy.

ClearLantern70archiveAug 25

I agree with the others why move off tirz to reta so quickly? Tirz tends to control hunger better for many. These meds need time. It sounds like you should slow the pace. Has your heart rate gone up?

You already answered your own question. What does bumping by .25 actually accomplish?

It was simply what remained in the vial and I did not want to open the next one since a fresh batch is arriving that I plan to test. I will start at 2mg on the next pin. I do feel better today than yesterday. Maybe the short time at 1.5mg plus this next dose will help more along with moving to 1.75 and spacing every five days instead of seven.
