I set daily minimums for macros and a maximum for calories but do not worry much beyond those. Protein often falls while traveling and I skip tracking then unless it is simple. Longer averages matter more than single day numbers. Deficits are tough to figure accurately because of errors in logging food, exercise and daily movement. Weekly scale numbers and the seven day average trend, plus body scans, show what is really happening.
Hello. If people are tracking, what carb fat and protein percentages do they use? I log with an app and currently run 50 percent carbs, 30 percent fat and 20 percent protein while trying to hit one gram of protein per pound of my goal weight, which feels tough. I have not started the medication yet and am still looking into it. Should these ratios be changed or do they seem fine? Also, what daily calorie deficit are most aiming for, though I know it varies.
