User Experiences with Cagrilintide Stacking

53 replies28 peopleJun 5, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

What are real-user experiences with Cagrilintide for appetite control when added to Tirzepatide or Retatrutide, including dosing, fatigue, and other side effects?

Many users find Cagri delivers strong food-noise and craving reduction that complements GLP-1s, sometimes restarting weight loss after plateaus. Fatigue is frequently reported, often strongest on days 2-3 after injection, but tends to lessen after several weeks or at lower starting doses for some people. Responses vary widely: some tolerate rapid dose jumps with minimal nausea while others feel wiped out even at 0.25 mg. Hydration, blood-sugar management, and slow titration are repeatedly mentioned as practical adjustments.

I wanted to share my experience with Cagrilintide. I have tried Tirzepatide, Retatrutide, Semaglutide, and Survodutide. The Cagri, Sema, and Survodutide combination feels best for me. Tirzepatide gave me terrible GI trouble. Maybe 15 mg was too much. Not sure. I do Sema once a week then Cagri three or four days later and end up freezing because I have not eaten. The upside is I still have some appetite. I dropped from 375 to 323 pounds in six months, then plateaued and crept back to 330. After getting my Cagri I injected 1.6 mg the next day. Food thoughts disappeared and so did cravings. I keep candy around to maintain glucose. I highly recommend Cagrilintide. The amylin effect really helps me as add-on therapy to GLP-1s. Retatrutide works well too.

IronLedger65archiveJun 5

Glad it worked out so well for you. I also like how it quiets noise but it leaves me exhausted for the following two days, so I quit and raised my Tirzepatide instead. I heard the tiredness can fade after a few weeks yet I tried four weeks before stopping. Being wiped out three days a week is not workable for me.

I think I like Cagri too, though I am pushing through fatigue similar to what others mentioned and hoping it eases up. I am working my way past it.

CopperSparrow21archiveJun 5

I am thinking about starting Cagri today. I work tomorrow and plan to use 250 mcg doses. My shift does not start until noon. Will caffeine be enough if the fatigue hits hard?

WarmMeadow92archiveJun 5

Reactions to these meds differ a lot, so it is tough to predict how you will feel. At the low dose you might notice no fatigue or other issues. Try to stay positive about having no sides. The mind is powerful. I usually feel the tiredness on the second and third day after the shot, but I began at twice your dose. No GI problems for me. The fatigue feels entirely mental, not tied to physical work. A few times I reminded myself it was just a side effect and not real tiredness, and I perked up.

You convinced me. I will give it another try. Ugh.

Did you really go straight from nothing to 1.6 mg of Cagri? Even with prior GLP-1 use that is a sizable jump for a drug known for nausea and vomiting risk. I am still testing 0.25 mg every four days and wonder if the mild nausea justifies the modest hunger drop. Adding another 0.25 mg makes it worse. I am also on Tirz 15 plus Reta 5.

PatientHarbour72archiveJun 6
↳ replying to @CopperSignal27

Yes, I went for it. But no nausea showed up. Side effects really differ between people. Tirzepatide, on the other hand, caused nonstop bathroom issues at 15 mg so I dropped it.

PlainFenwick60archiveJun 6

I just received some and am waiting to begin until I can pick days that let me handle possible fatigue. Looking forward to trying it.

Good luck. The fatigue has eased since my first week. Starting at 250 mcg might have made it less intense. It is odd that so many here feel tired when stacking Cagri with Tirz or Reta, yet trial data showed only slightly higher rates than Sema alone. Let us know how the next attempt goes.

IronLedger65archiveJun 6

Injected last night. Will update. Hoping week five works out better.

Tirzepatide actually helps my ulcerative colitis, which is the opposite of what some report. It is striking how side-effect rates in studies sometimes diverge from what shows up here. Earlier data showed little nausea difference between Tirz and Sema, yet newer reports and forums favor Tirz. Retatrutide skin sensations appear more common online than in trials. On this forum nausea and vomiting do not seem as frequent as the 50 percent rates often listed in studies.

Glad you found something that suits you. It is wild how individual it is. I recently added Cagri to my maintenance Retatrutide. It is potent and hits hard, especially combined. Keeping candy or sugar packets handy makes sense because low intake can drain energy and glycogen, leaving you wiped out mentally and physically. A quick sugar hit brings me back to normal while hunger stays gone.

IronLedger65archiveJun 8

Maybe week five will be better. I feel a bit tired but not the total exhaustion from the first four weeks. I can function this time.

LevelWillow65archiveJun 8

For the past twelve weeks I have been using 0.25 mg Cagri twenty-four hours before my 3 mg Retatrutide. The pair removes all food noise and took my body fat from 15 percent down to 12 percent. No other peptides, and strength stayed the same. Solid combo for me.

BlueKettle52archiveJun 8
↳ replying to @IronLedger65

Could the tiredness come from too few carbs or overall low calories rather than the Cagri? I began at 266 mcg last week with no sides and got the appetite effect I wanted. The Cagri plus Retatrutide stack is very strong. Planning to go below 12 percent?

IronLedger65archiveJun 8

No, I am confident it was the Cagri. My eating habits and carb intake stayed the same. The first shot brought fatigue unlike anything I had felt before. Later doses were rough but milder. This fifth week it is only mild or barely noticeable and I am fully functional. No GI trouble at all. I am not raising the dose in case the fatigue returns.

LevelWillow65archiveJun 8

I am trying to drop fat while keeping strength for DEKA Fit and Hyrox events. Results are good and race times keep improving. Next I will lower Retatrutide to 2 mg then 1 mg for maintenance while holding Cagri at 0.25 mg.

BlueKettle52archiveJun 8
↳ replying to @IronLedger65

Interesting. I had more fatigue when first starting Retatrutide but none from Cagri. I am eight weeks into Retatrutide now and the tiredness has gone. Maybe it relates to the different receptors each drug hits. If any fatigue appears this week, carrying candy or sugar packets could help.

BlueKettle52archiveJun 8
↳ replying to @LevelWillow65

You can strip fat and keep or even gain strength. Cardio also becomes surprisingly easy at lower body-fat levels. I went from 14 percent to 9 percent and the difference shows up in how long I can stay on the stairmaster or treadmill. My maintenance is 1 mg Retatrutide plus 266 mcg Cagri. No sides and still no hunger.

PlainFenwick60archiveJun 9
↳ replying to @PlainFenwick60

I tried it. This is day two and fatigue has not really appeared. Some food noise remains but hunger is basically gone. I will see how the next couple of weeks go, but so far it seems worth keeping.

Someone at 320 pounds may handle sides differently.

IronMarble78archiveJun 18

Looking for suggested Cagri dosing schedules, maybe from the phase trials.

PatientHarbour23archiveJun 18
↳ replying to @IronMarble78

Begin extremely low, once a week for a few weeks to gauge your response. You can then shift to every five days or raise by a tiny amount. It is extremely potent and even a small dose can wipe out appetite for days plus cause major GI upset.

PlainFenwick60archiveJun 18
↳ replying to @PlainFenwick60

I have had better results splitting into 0.25 mg one day and another 0.25 mg a day or two later. Taking 0.50 mg at once brought the fatigue others described. This medication does work.

PatientPebble79archiveJun 18
↳ replying to @PatientHarbour72 (opening post)

This shows how different everyone is and why we should respect each report even if it does not match our own. Some need 15 mg of a drug while others reach their goal on 1 mg. It bothers me when people dismiss low doses as ineffective. Happy for both users here. Neither approach is universally right, only what works for the individual.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 19

I take 0.50 mg every Thursday and Tirzepatide 10 mg on Sunday. The first couple of weeks were rough. It is becoming more tolerable now. I no longer stay awake from Thursday into Friday. I inject at bedtime to sleep through some effects. I only sleep about twelve hours straight now. Trying 1 mg felt awful and I probably will not go higher than 0.50 mg again.

BrightCompass30archiveJun 19

Cagri can lower blood sugar, so anyone feeling fatigued afterward might want to check their readings.

PatientHarbour23archiveJun 19
↳ replying to @WarmSparrow33

I learned the hard way not to start at 0.5 mg. I now use 0.125 mg or at most 0.25 mg and have backed off for now. The first time I took 0.5 mg it felt terrible and blood-sugar crashes were intense.

WarmAnchor49archiveJun 20

I like Cagri as well. Started low and slow. I currently use 2 mg weekly with no fatigue and actually feel more energetic. It does dry my mouth more.

PatientFenwick91archiveJun 24
↳ replying to @WarmAnchor49

I tried 0.75 mg and am unsure if it is doing much. I keep going back and forth on how I feel about it, but it is not giving the appetite or food-noise control I hoped for. Stacking with Retatrutide once made me feel ill without extra suppression, so I stopped both. After a break I restarted but still do not feel strong effects. I wish there were more reports from people who need higher doses from the start. Should I jump to 1 mg or 2 mg? How long did it take you to reach 2 mg? Considering going up if 1 mg does nothing. Update: just pinned 1.5 mg and still feel nothing.

SlowCompass46archiveJun 24

I am on 1.8 mg now after about twelve weeks and that seems to be my sweet spot. I am also on Tirzepatide 12.5 mg, recently raised to 15 mg. Before this Cagri dose I did not feel much suppression and envied people who cannot eat at 0.3 mg. I used Tirzepatide for a year, stopped for two months, then restarted, so my tolerance may be higher and required more Cagri. I have a 10 mg kit coming after testing single vials. I will raise to 2 mg in a few weeks if the effect fades, but for now it is fine.

PlainBramble29archiveJun 24

I began Cagri at 0.25 mg once weekly. I had been on Tirzepatide for twenty-four months, the last year at 15 mg. Since December I was stalling or even gaining. I lowered Tirzepatide to 7.5 mg, added Retatrutide up to 4 mg, and started Cagri two weeks ago. Hunger had been intense with Retatrutide alone. Now I am losing again and have dropped the eight pounds gained since December. I will keep a low Tirzepatide dose because it reduces inflammation and my rheumatism symptoms have disappeared, which my doctor also likes.

PatientFenwick91archiveJun 24
↳ replying to @PlainBramble29

I had the same uncontrollable hunger on Retatrutide. How much Cagri are you using now? Still at 250 mcg?

BlueKettle52archiveJun 24
↳ replying to @PatientFenwick91

You could try stacking Cagri, Retatrutide, and Tirzepatide on separate days, for example Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All three hit slightly different pathways, so you cover more bases and may get a synergistic effect.

PatientFenwick91archiveJun 24
↳ replying to @BlueKettle52

Thanks for the idea, but I ran Retatrutide at 8 mg weekly for six months with no weight loss and lots of side effects including extreme hunger. I quit it and am not planning another GLP-1 right now. That is why I am testing Cagri by itself and also waiting on something else. I will add another 500 mcg on top of the 1.5 mg and see how it goes.

AmberLedger89archiveJun 24

My wife started Cagri last Thursday at 0.25 mg alongside 8 mg Retatrutide on Mondays. I do 4 mg Retatrutide on Monday and was thinking about adding Cagri this Friday at 0.25 mg but worry about exhaustion. I want less food noise yet still need to hit protein goals. I keep debating whether to start. Raising my Retatrutide to 6 mg brought noticeable intestinal issues.

LevelTimber10archiveJun 24
↳ replying to @WarmAnchor49

Yes, the dry mouth makes eating feel like a chore because everything tastes like cardboard.

PatientThistle39archiveJun 24

Current experience with Cagri: I have been on Retatrutide since early 2026 after using Tirzepatide since August 2025. I started Retatrutide at 1 mg weekly and went up to 7.5 mg. After the first 7.5 mg dose I had severe diarrhea for a week, so I dropped back to 5 mg weekly then 5 mg every five days. After a five-to-six-week plateau I added Cagri. I began at 0.1 mg weekly with no effect, then raised to 0.4 mg. Three days after the last shot I developed extreme fatigue, nausea, very low blood pressure around 100/60, had to stop my workout, and my smartwatch shows abnormal sleep and atrial fibrillation. I am seeing a cardiologist. I cannot confirm Cagri caused it and cannot mention it to the doctor.

PlainBramble29archiveJun 24
↳ replying to @PatientFenwick91

Yes, it is working well now so I will keep using 250 mcg on Saturdays.

BlueKettle52archiveJun 24
↳ replying to @PatientFenwick91

It is surprising you had extreme hunger on 8 mg Retatrutide weekly. I am currently on very low doses of both Cagri and Retatrutide with good suppression. I am considering adding a small amount of Tirzepatide too. The combination seems to give a synergistic effect for me. Since it did not work that way for you, maybe try Cagri alone first. Watch for accumulated GI sides if you ever combine them again. I still have appetite but get full fast, plus dry mouth that makes me drink constantly.

CopperSignal15archiveJul 4
↳ replying to @WarmMeadow92

Could the fatigue relate to the sudden drop in calories?

PatientThistle39archiveJul 5
↳ replying to @PatientThistle39

Quick update: even after stopping Cagri I still have low blood pressure and atrial fibrillation. Further checking showed dehydration was the cause, despite drinking fluids and electrolytes. The ongoing diarrhea that began when I reached 6 mg Retatrutide weekly appears to be the root. Cagri itself did not cause the problems. Everyone should watch hydration because it can become dangerous. Note that I have had atrial fibrillation before and remain at risk for recurrence.

GreyHarbour69archiveJul 16

I want to start Cagri with Semaglutide. What dose makes sense as a former Tirzepatide user who is a low responder? Tirzepatide stopped working at 10 mg weekly after ten weeks so I had to raise it to 15 mg. I have been off it for three months because I finished my supply and cannot afford that dose. I am considering starting at 0.5 mg each, then 1 mg each, then 1.8 mg each, then 2.5 mg each, increasing every three to four weeks or slower if the current level still works.

KeenBramble12archiveJul 23

Where do you pin Cagri, stomach or glute?

Location should not matter since absorption will be the same either way.
