What peptide cut appetite the most for you?

11 replies12 peopleOct 17, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Which peptide or stack suppresses appetite the strongest based on personal experience?

Users report semaglutide delivers the sharpest appetite drop and physical aversion to food, while retatrutide leans more on metabolic effects allowing normal eating with continued loss. Tirzepatide alone is milder, but adding cagrilintide often restores strong suppression and cuts food noise. Stacks involving tirzepatide plus cagrilintide or other agents frequently produce the lowest calorie intake, though individual responses vary with dose.

Whether weaker appetite suppression on retatrutide is an advantage or a drawback compared with stronger GLP-1 agents.

Retatrutide helps a lot with weight loss, yet plenty of people say it fails to blunt hunger as strongly as the alternatives. Back when I started GLP-1s in 2024, semaglutide hit extremely hard and left me queasy just thinking about eating. Tirzepatide and retatrutide felt easier on the system, but I still miss that sharper curb sometimes.

We link weight loss so tightly to eating less that we miss the metabolic side. Semaglutide mainly hits the GLP-1 route and therefore cuts appetite hard. Retatrutide adds metabolic routes on top, so the body burns energy differently even at the same calorie level. That explains why someone can eat normally on retatrutide and still drop weight, which feels wrong if you expect strong hunger suppression. The mental quiet around food noise also plays a big role.

That is exactly why I avoid retatrutide and stay on tirzepatide for maintenance. I can still eat enough, but I do not want something that reportedly increases hunger for some. With my borderline binge-eating issues, that would be rough mentally.

Tirzepatide stacked with survo.

Tirzepatide and recently started adding cag to the mix.

Retatrutide has been inconsistent for me. At 2 mg weekly the suppression was decent; I got hungry but could only finish half of what I used to eat. At 4 mg the effect vanished and I ate more than before, though the metabolic drive means I need to adjust how I fuel. I tried a small tirzepatide dose last week with little added benefit so far.

Adding cag to tirzepatide reset everything for me. I had been on a steady tirzepatide maintenance dose around 7 mg for over a year and weight started creeping back. Instead of raising the tirzepatide, I added cag at 0.5 mg weekly and later 0.85 mg. Appetite dropped about half and sometimes I have to make myself eat.

I have not tried semaglutide or retatrutide, but tirzepatide plus elora has cut my appetite sharply. I can order anything I want because I only manage two or three bites. My daily intake stays between one thousand and thirteen hundred calories most days.

I should try that stack again since I already have the compounds.

I attempted cag with tirzepatide but stopped after two doses due to a mild reaction. The cag itself killed appetite effectively. I have since added semaglutide to tirzepatide and the second dose brought strong suppression again. I am adding just 0.25 mg two days after the tirzepatide shot and hoping it lasts.

I have used retatrutide with cagrilintide for three months while still dialing in the right amounts. The main goal was food-noise control, and appetite suppression has improved as doses rose. Early on I doubled the cagrilintide and spent the week nauseous after just a few bites of anything.

I have been on MT1 for a week and it has suppressed appetite far more than expected. Combined with retatrutide it leaves me with zero hunger and I have to push myself to eat.
