Is the idea to stay at the lowest dose that quiets food noise without sides, or keep slowly increasing as long as noise and sides stay low?

I stayed at 0.5mg for four weeks and averaged over 2lbs loss per week. I increased in week five once food noise returned. Sides like constipation are manageable with fiber and such. I only ramp when weight loss stalls for a couple weeks or when chasing better blood markers. Now 12 weeks in and 22lbs down.

I've had to increase a few times and I'm used to the sides now. New vials from different places sometimes hit harder even at the same dose.

Overfill or better chemistry?

One week in, next pin Wednesday. Still have 80-100lbs to lose. At 3mg after coming off Tirz which I used for 10-11 months.
↳ replying to @QuietAnchor73
Probably the chemistry. I adjust for fill volume when mixing. Still at 6mg and BMI now 24.9 though body fat is still high.
Been on Tirz 15mg weekly for nine months after years on Wegovy and hit a plateau. Wondering if switching to or adding Reta is worth it for more progress without losing muscle. The endotoxin concerns are worrying though. Anyone who's used both, is it worth trying or should I just stay with the prescribed Tirz?
At 6mg weekly after switching from max Tirz last year. No longer losing but sitting at 110kg around 12% body fat with visible abs and veins at 47.

That's solid progress, congrats. What was your body fat and weight when you switched from Tirz to Reta?

See the post above, I can share the document that lays out the full exit protocol.
Been at 5mg the last four weeks and thinking about going up because food cravings are coming back.
↳ replying to @ClearBramble44
Are you also seeing the scale stop moving, or is it mainly the food noise returning?
Honestly I have no idea because I was two months without a scale. I saw minus point seven kilos last week but this week I think it might go up based on my belt.
Eight mg. I started at two mg in December twenty twenty five then slowly worked my way up. I have lost over fifty pounds from two thirty six down to one eighty four and my goal is one eighty. I have never felt better.

Awesome thank you for this!
I began with a one milligram dose back in March when my weight was near two hundred fifteen pounds. I've gradually increased to four milligrams with the latest injection. My weight now stands at one hundred ninety pounds after dropping twenty five pounds across six weeks. My target is between one hundred sixty five and one hundred seventy at six feet one inch tall. This feels like the moment to reap the rewards from years spent developing muscle that stayed concealed under body fat.

This amounts to four pounds lost each week. It strikes me as quite a lot, possibly more than advisable based on material I have reviewed. I could easily be mistaken though. How many weeks were you using the lower dose, and at what point did the increase happen?
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11
I took one milligram during the opening week, one and a half the next, two after that, two and a half across the fourth and fifth, then three for the sixth and seventh. I recently began the eighth week using a four milligram injection. Reviewing my records showed the timing was off by several weeks, which cracked me up.
↳ replying to @NorthCompass84
So you're titrating up every week or two weeks?
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11
It remains less quick compared to the escalations from our tests.
↳ replying to @LevelThistle44
I thought I saw four weeks on a certain dose then four weeks titrating up on the next and so on. I was just curious.
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11
Yeah I think the trials would have been at four mg on week five not week eight. My reta titration was pretty off book also.
I've taken three milligrams spread across several weeks without seeing any reason to increase the amount. I'm anticipating combining this with other items, starting one after a short period and then another. Hopefully the package shows up before long. It looks like one has to be patient lately.

For now I'll keep using the same amount of four milligrams since this level is where I first noticed excessive reduction in hunger, increased touchiness on my skin, and difficulty resting at night, which I think comes from not consuming enough food.
One mg for eight weeks now. Not trying to lose though I have about fourteen pounds down but taking reta for the health benefits.
I'm currently on two mg twice a week. However as I'm currently not utilizing those sales I won't go any higher as it's quite expensive. I have however lost eight kg in the four weeks I've been doing it.
Started seven point five mg this morning. I feel a lot fuller after eating.
Actually, I prefer keeping the dose around one to one and a half milligrams because I still want those advantages for my metabolism and how my body handles insulin. Right now my weight is fine, but I'd like to replace a small amount of fat with muscle instead. To support that goal I'm paying more attention to high protein meals and exercising three or four times weekly in shorter bursts so I can maintain what I have and maybe add a bit more.
After six weeks I'm still taking just the one milligram dose. My weight keeps dropping and my hunger stays in check. I've shed nearly twenty pounds along with three inches around my middle. The pounds are still coming off and I'm keeping money in my pocket for now. I'll bump the amount higher once the scale stops moving or if I begin feeling extremely hungry again.

I find myself in a comparable position. Back in mid-February I weighed 286. Prior to beginning the 2mg weekly dose four weeks ago, I had already dropped 20 pounds over six weeks. The choice point arrives tomorrow. After introducing this medication, the scale moved down by 5.3 pounds in the first week, then 2.5 pounds each in the following two weeks. I'll check my weight tomorrow morning to evaluate the fourth week before making up my mind. Although I tend to want faster results, I recognize this rate qualifies as solid advancement. Opinions vary on whether to minimize the amount for continued reduction or stick to study protocols. The sole issue I've noticed from the current dose involves my pulse increasing by five to seven beats per minute, yet it remains between 73 and 75. I'm inclined to increase to 3mg as a middle ground.
↳ replying to @QuietSignal61
I'm glad just 2mg does the job for you. It doesn't bother me that I need more myself to reach similar effects.
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11
Right, the study calls for dosing at monthly intervals. I step up the amount every thirty days when the scale stops moving and any reactions stay minimal.

I kicked things off using a quarter milligram on two occasions each week. Those initial three weeks proved really difficult. These days I've reached half a milligram on the same schedule and experience absolutely no unwanted effects anymore. Back then the problems with resting, feeling sick, heartburn, and that restless yet exhausted state struck strongly despite the tiny amount. I nearly gave up on the whole thing yet accounts from others who kept going convinced me to continue. I've been wondering if gradual increases might help avoid those problems. So far I've dropped down a pants size while keeping my muscle mass based on basic measurements around my limbs with a tape. I'll get a scan done in the coming weeks to make sure.

My dosage reached four milligrams split across the day and it's performing incredibly well. By the third week another four pounds had come off. The fourth week the numbers on the scale didn't match what I expected. Now in the fifth week the loss is still happening. Wishing everything's going smoothly for you! Hey what's your weight right now 😭 Was that hard?!
I took another 1mg dose last Friday. In that opening week I dropped 1.5 kilograms yet sense zero difference whatsoever. I remain able to consume plenty while staying at or below my calorie target and reaching 200 grams of protein each day. Not certain about moving up to 2mg because nothing registers but the scale keeps moving anyway.
↳ replying to @PlainPebble77
I wouldn't raise the dose by half-milligram steps, and there's no point in doing so after just seven days have passed anyway. Levels take about a month to settle in the body regardless.
↳ replying to @PlainPebble77
Everyone wants to rush it. Do four weeks and most start at two mg which we did. I still don't get these crazy small shots.
↳ replying to @SlowAlder76
Hey there I'm in the UK too and recently began using reta I also picked up selank that works really well.
↳ replying to @SteadyQuill18
Yet nothing seems to register with me at all right now.
I'm on a milligram each week at present. I intend to raise the dose very gradually since injections wreck my rest that day and I feel hesitant about speeding things up.
↳ replying to @PlainPebble77
Appetite suppression isn't the intended effect from what I understand. I've come across accounts where individuals added tirzepatide to enhance the impact. Responses vary widely among users with some feeling it intensely while others notice little. After my initial half milligram shot eating became difficult for me so I spaced out the administrations over time. Taking things gradually worked out better in my case than rushing.
I began with this medication during October 2025 when my weight stood at 186 pounds. Initially I took 1 milligram and gradually increased until reaching 6 milligrams. Currently my weight has dropped to 156 pounds while I maintain with 3 milligrams each week. To keep my muscle mass I make sure to consume sufficient protein so I do not shed any more weight. The excellent blood test outcomes are why I continue at this 3 milligram level for now. Being a 36 year old man who stands 5 foot 9 inches tall, I might reduce the weekly amount to 2 milligrams soon. For the time being I feel content continuing this way indefinitely.
↳ replying to @PatientPebble33
Yeah, raising the dose gradually after the initial one works okay. A lot of users keep their amount unchanged for four weeks before going higher. I kicked off at 2mg.
Started at one mg a week split into two shots. Going to run as is for at least three weeks before going up.
I have been at one mg for two point five months now. Seeing results things are slow but steady.
↳ replying to @PlainPebble77
My situation lined up almost exactly. Beginning with the smallest amount, I took in extra food over those opening seven days compared to my usual pattern. Around the third week I raised it slightly and noticed zero change, though some weight came off anyway. After two weeks there I increased once more, and without any real drop in cravings I got full on smaller portions and saw better scale movement. By the six-week point nearly eight pounds had gone even with almost no sensations. I kept that level for three more weeks since the results held steady and now sit around twelve pounds lighter overall. It's odd to drop weight without the appetite drop others mention. Tomorrow I intend to try the next step up and check how it feels. A bit less of those urges could let the pounds come off quicker.
I'm 5 foot 10, 215 pounds, 49 years old. Weeks 1-2 at 1 mg, weeks 3-4 at 1.5 mg, weeks 4-7 at 2 mg. Started at 228 pounds and now down 13. Pinning tomorrow and thinking about moving to 3 mg. Very little food noise suppression but still losing. Frustrated I keep wanting chocolate and beer. Fuller faster with better portion control yet still want stronger suppression. Any thoughts on going to 3 mg, sticking with my pattern at 2.5, or adding Tirz for appetite help?
Just had my fourth dose of 1 mg today. Haven't lost any weight so far but it has definitely changed my eating.
Started at 2 mg, bumped to 3 mg after 4 weeks and now at 4 mg for the last 3 weeks. Only down 3 pounds, but seeing some nice body recomp results so far.
