From what others have posted it looks like some other GLPs might handle food noise better, though I have only used Reta so I cannot compare directly. I began at 1 mg per week. Much like you I quickly stopped thinking about food, quit snacking altogether, and found meals far more satisfying. I wondered at first if it was just in my head, but I have been dropping about 2 lbs each week for four weeks on this small amount. My wife noticed the change and asked if I had lost weight, which felt good since no one had said that before. She had been doubtful about something bought online, but now she has started it herself.
I bulked up close to 200 pounds over the winter and have always enjoyed eating with frequent snacks, often struggling to control portions especially with calorie-heavy nuts. That led me to look into peptides for appetite control. I started Reta and raised the amount each week, reaching 1.5 mg where I plan to stay for a while. At this level my desire to eat has dropped sharply so I rarely think about food and find it hard to reach even 160 g of protein daily. Meals I used to finish quickly now take much longer. Even though this is viewed as a low clinical amount it affects me strongly. People clearly respond in very different ways. I've now reached 172 pounds with a target of 150.
