We compared six actively-developed trackers on the things users actually ask for in forums: does it work without an install, can it plan a multi-compound protocol (not just log shots), does it track vials and what each dose costs, does it model medication levels from half-lives, can it hold bloodwork, and does it cite sources for its reference content.

Where each app honestly wins

Shotsy is the most polished single-medication GLP-1 tracker on iOS — the app whose charts people screenshot into support groups. If you take one medication and live on an iPhone, it is a fair default. It does not cover research peptides or multi-compound protocols.

PeptIQ has the deepest library of research-peptide compound guides in the category and recently added a web app. Its reference content is where it shines; protocol and inventory tooling are thinner, and its history includes vendor partnerships — worth knowing when you weigh its recommendations.

Pep AI moves fast and its "compound vault" now tracks vials and reserves. It is iOS-first, its AI features are an add-on, and its reference content does not cite sources.

Regimen shipped the category's best titration planner — plan a dose change once and every future dose updates — plus hourly level charting. Its free tier (one compound) is real. It is iOS-only and covers less of the protocol-inventory-labs surface.

MyPeptideApp is free, built by one developer, and covers the core loop well in the browser. If price is the deciding factor, use it — genuinely. It does not have a research corpus, cost tracking, or labs depth, and one-person projects carry continuity risk.
