You mean steroids? From my experience five hundred milligrams of testosterone paired with four units of growth hormone left me constantly starving and those glp compounds worked like plain sterile water.

It exceeded that amount slightly but the situation unfolded the same way. Those twenty four kept the issue mostly under control even though the whole thing lacked much enjoyment since hunger stayed around.

Right now I'm dosing 4 milligrams weekly, divided into two shots of 2 milligrams spaced three and a half days apart. I've been holding at this level for a couple weeks already. I plan to keep it there for two more weeks before bumping up to five. So far everything feels positive. I've been using this for about six weeks total. There's no way I'm going all the way to twelve. Six seems like it could end up being my ideal amount. My body recomposition efforts are just starting out, yet this stuff has performed really well up to now.

Experimented with raising the amount by a milligram on two occasions, starting at four up to five. Stuck with the five for seven days before moving right up to six. Nothing changed at all. The same pattern occurred moving from six up to seven. At these elevated levels the single milligram steps work in another way. I mentioned that already about the larger amounts. Quite a contrast. Right now taking nine, and I'm sure the ten will come along within three weeks.

Would skipping straight past four to reach six have seemed like the better move if starting fresh?

Sure, that lines up with what I've tracked. Everything sits in my own table on the computer. I kept the six milligram amount going for six weeks since the impact held steady, then it dropped away so I raised it to seven milligrams across one week and got no effect at all from my view, which led me to eight milligrams. This dose also feels weak now, and I have no idea what changed.

PatientMarble14archiveJun 30

I've dropped five kilograms already with only two left until I hit my target. Feeling incredibly lean these days. Started at one milligram for the first week and kept it there through the second before raising it to one and a half in the third and then one point eight during the fourth. Now heading into the fifth week and sticking with that same one point eight milligrams when the time comes around again.

GreenBramble30archiveJul 1

I've been giving myself a one milligram dose on two separate days each week. Week three is just starting and the scale shows a drop of 2.9 kilograms or 6.4 pounds which leaves me quite pleased with how things are going.

Appreciate the pointer to that peptide calculator. No question it's the finest I've come across.

CopperWillow24archiveJul 4

I upped my amount from three to four milligrams not long ago. It's been about fourteen days now, and I'm sensing something isn't right along with a touch of low mood. Could be the amount is more than I need or perhaps I'm still adjusting. Maybe I'm not consuming enough food either. I do weights three times each week and go for a run two times. I've lost a little mass yet the changes in my physique are obvious already.

On June 19 I began with two milligrams of reta. My only reaction was interrupted rest over the opening couple of days, after which everything felt normal. The next week on the same amount brought another stretch of restless nights lasting roughly two days before it settled. During the third week at that level there were no reactions whatsoever.

My decision to go with this medication stemmed mostly from how well it handles deep abdominal fat loss. Any decrease in constant thoughts about eating was simply a bonus effect. Until now I had no idea the alternative one stands out for cutting down on those eating thoughts. Thanks for pointing that out.

AmberLantern34archiveJul 6

I've been on this for close to three months and increased the dosage to two times three milligrams per week. Following three weeks at that level I suffered really awful digestive issues that interfered with my everyday activities far too greatly so I dropped back down to two times two point five milligrams weekly. I aim to remain at this level for as long as possible.

I am a seventy two year old woman who began Tirz in April of twenty twenty four. My starting weight stood at two hundred thirty four pounds. Eighty pounds disappeared across fifteen months with the top dose reaching seven point five milligrams. I plateaued yet felt content holding steady near one hundred fifty to one hundred sixty pounds until winter set in with nighttime munching sessions and reduced exercise since tending a garden becomes impossible amid Wisconsin's snowy season. Upon climbing back to one hundred seventy pounds I chose to stack Reta alongside Tirz.
Sunday April fifth twenty twenty six brought seven point five milligrams of Tirz. Thursday April ninth added one milligram Reta with the reading at one hundred seventy pounds. Sunday April twelfth used five milligrams Tirz while Thursday April sixteenth introduced one point five milligrams Reta showing one hundred sixty two pounds. Sunday April nineteenth took five milligrams Tirz and Thursday April twenty third two milligrams Reta at one hundred sixty three point six pounds. Sunday May third three milligrams Tirz followed by Thursday May seventh two milligrams Reta at one hundred sixty two point two pounds. June sixteenth saw Tirz discontinued in favor of two milligrams Reta weekly at one hundred fifty nine pounds. June twenty ninth showed one hundred fifty four pounds representing sixteen pounds shed over twelve weeks. The approach stayed slow and steady with zero adverse effects while feeling wonderful throughout.

I'm a guy around thirty who's never used GLP-1 medications until now. This morning I gave myself one milligram for the very first time. Does that sound like an okay initial amount for someone my size? Tomorrow I'll check how I feel and head to the gym if things go well.

KeenQuill60archiveJul 7

Began with 3 mg weekly recently. Only mild nausea when bumping the dose, otherwise everything feels positive.

PlainAlder11archiveJul 7
↳ replying to @SlowCompass30

For a bigger person I'd actually start with 2 mg instead.

PatientPebble80archiveJul 8

One month in at 1 mg per week and really pleased so far. This stuff is a game changer.

PlainKettle39archiveJul 8

At 8 mg after nine weeks and moving to 10 mg next week, then staying there. Started at 294, now 265, averaging over three pounds down each week.

IronKettle95archiveJul 8

These stories are great to read. I'm on 7.5 tirz plus 3 reta split Fri/Tues and down 83 lb in 18 weeks. Scale now shows just overweight instead of obese.

WarmWillow50archiveJul 8

Week eight I moved up to 3 mg and that was a mistake, lots of stomach issues since the Friday pin. Dropping back to 2 mg for now. Down 15 lb though, so that's good.

QuietThistle70archiveJul 8

My ramp plan is built around a 6 mg vial I reconstituted with 1 ml. Dosing in units to hit 0.6, 0.9, 1.2, 1.5, then 1.8 mg over five weeks to reach the trial starting point of 2 mg. Taking it slow on top of 4 mg tirz I've used for over a year. Might swap tirz out gradually. Mostly maintaining but want to drop another 15 lb over time. Lost 3 lb in the first four weeks of adding reta.

SteadyCompass88archiveJul 8

Second 1 mg dose went in on Sunday with no sides at all. Previously alternating 2.4 wegovy and 15 tirz every other week. Planning to try 2 mg this Sunday. Feeling like weight might be creeping up so might add 7.5 tirz midweek too. Usually only pin when food noise returns but aiming to stay consistent weekly despite ADHD. Started at 220 in Jan 2025, now 170, goal 140.

NorthCompass84archiveJul 8

After a few months at 5 mg I'm now lowering, did 3 mg today and plan to reach 1 mg over the next weeks. Went from 215 to 174, BMI 23, targeting 165-170 or BMI 21-23 for longevity. Scaling back while getting used to eating at maintenance. Took two years to gain from 170s to 220s then stayed there 15 years, so this reset feels solid.

PatientPebble80archiveJul 10
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11

Not really tracking scale weight since I didn't have much to lose, but waist and overall body fat are down noticeably. Thinking about adding tesa soon too.

GreenWillow85archiveJul 10

Fourth week on 2 mg reta stacked with 12 mg tirz. Planning slow increases while dropping tirz and maybe switching to cagri if needed. Tirz had stopped working for the last eight or nine months so switched to reta and scale is finally moving again.

PlainAlder11archiveJul 10

Sounds exactly like my wife who won't step on the scale either so I can't tell if her dose needs adjusting. You've dropped body fat after a month at just 1 mg?

QuietMeadow20archiveJul 11

Began at 0.5 and added 0.5 every two weeks, now at 2.5 and down 9 kg. Will stop increasing soon and settle on a maintenance amount that keeps the fridge raids away.

PatientMarble60archiveJul 11

Running 10 mg weekly blasts and notice stalls lasting months at previous higher weights before dropping again.

IronLedger90archiveJul 12

Started 2 mg on 6/19 and planning to move to 4 mg with the next dose on Monday.

PlainAlder11archiveJul 12

Not sure what you mean. She skips weighing because a gain would upset her. Trust me she's lost plenty though, typical women stuff.

SharpAlder96archiveJul 12
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11

The sleep issues are definitely real and I'm only at 2.5 mg.

NorthWillow14archiveJul 12

Moved from 2 to 4 mg last week and it hit hard. At 2 mg I was still snacking and thinking about food at night. At 4 mg I couldn't finish meals. Wanted the suppression but it was too much so splitting the difference and trying 3 mg for a few weeks.

QuietAnchor73archiveJul 12
↳ replying to @PlainAlder11

Haha that was me early on. My wife pushed tracking weight so I'd know if things were working or not, and she was right as usual.

RustAnchor89archiveJul 12

Just beginning to add reta on top of my usual tirz at 15 mg every six days for the past year. First 2 mg reta on Thursday gave a little extra suppression, nothing else. Bought R10 so trying to match the schedule. With heart concerns I'll do 2 then 3 then 3 instead of faster. Wife went to 20 mg tirz alone instead and I'm a bit jealous, she's got the bad burps and barely eating like before.

PlainAlder11archiveJul 12
↳ replying to @NorthWillow14

Big appetite suppression right from 2 mg and I eat as much as I can, focusing on protein especially meat. Don't eat a lot overall. No sides except sleep which started at 6 mg. Always waited 4-6 weeks before increasing. Just finished week four at 9 mg and moving to maintenance.

SlowBeacon59archiveJul 13

Started reta in November 2025 at 1 mg split weekly. By April 2026 at 12 mg split weekly. Down about 100 lb so far. Only minor sulphur burps early and occasional constipation, otherwise smooth.

GreenThistle62archiveJul 13
↳ replying to @PatientMarble60

Stuck in a half pound range for four weeks now. Only stayed stalled three weeks before dropping again last time. Just have to wait it out. Doing two 3 mg pins per week.

GreenThistle20archiveJul 14

On 2 mg reta. Weight bouncing between 77.9 and 80 kg since February. Was on 12.5 tirz until six weeks ago then up to 15 mg. Lost half kg weekly at first then stalled so added 2 mg reta plus 0.3 cagri and now down over 1 kg in a week, back to early tirz response. Sticking with this stack for now. If reta goes up I'll lower tirz. If losing too fast I'll drop the cagri.

PlainHarbour73archiveJul 15

Started at 2 mg every four days. Looking back probably should have begun lower, first few days had rough GI effects but adjusted fine and no issues now.

RustAnchor35archiveJul 16

At 2 mg. No hurry. Think 4 mg will be the highest I go.

SteadyAnchor31archiveJul 16

Nine weeks on Friday of 1 mg every four days. As of July 10th down from 112.3 kg to 98.4. Appetite unchanged even after adding tesa and ipa. Diet locked at 150 g+ protein daily with limited carbs and no sweets. Weigh in tomorrow, fingers crossed.

PatientLantern47archiveJul 16

Began at 0.5 mg and titrated slowly over 14 weeks, now at 4 mg per week.

PlainAlder11archiveJul 16

Actually going to start lowering now. Hit goals and then some so moving to maintenance. Thinking 9 mg down to 6 mg and watching the scale. Will be an experiment going backwards instead of up.

PlainKettle39archiveJul 16

Moved to 10 mg on Monday and bathroom situation still normal. Started 294 now 261.

CopperThistle19archiveJul 16

Running 10 mg weekly. Started reta Feb 19. Best shape ever.

WarmHarbour27archiveJul 16

Began with mounjaro then wegovy then grey tirz and added 1 mg reta today. Down 161 lb total and never felt better, probably best shape ever. Aiming for goal soon then maintenance.

WryMarble39archiveJul 17

Nearly six weeks in and increased to 4 mg every seven days. Started over 135 kg but scales didn't record for almost a week, now at 124 kg and feeling good.
