I went through severe anhedonia once I reached about 4.5 mg of Reta each week. It seems fairly typical based on what I've seen reported. It never got better for me, but I reached my goal weight and stopped, then felt much better once I switched to Tirz for maintenance. I already deal with dopamine-related mood problems so this hit me especially hard.
I've been using Reta at 5 mg for several months. Over the past few weeks I've lost all interest in the things I used to enjoy, whether that's hobbies, meals, intimacy, seeing people, or time with my family. I barely want to get off the couch or leave the house. When my family was away I stayed in bed until late afternoon just scrolling. I wondered if my depression had worsened, but after seeing mentions of anhedonia linked to Reta it fits exactly. Has anyone found that Wellbutrin or Auvelity eased this? Did lowering the dose make a difference? I'm really struggling and want it to stop but don't want to regain weight either.
