Summary

how users combine low-dose sema with reta or tirz for renewed appetite suppression and what practical issues arise

users report adding 0.25-0.5 mg sema to ongoing reta or tirz regimens once hunger returns or progress stalls, with some preferring split reta dosing and others staying on sema alone when it works. experiences include effective low-dose combos, fatigue prompting switches to reta, constipation concerns, and non-weight benefits, alongside sourcing shifts to domestic options and maintenance-phase results. regulatory notes cover EU/UK approval timelines for higher sema doses versus later US filings. individual responses vary widely and some users face family pushback on sourcing.

Taking part in this group purchase I planned to order quite a bit of the sema version for my partner since the pharmacy that mixes her doses is shutting down after a legal case. Checking the order spreadsheet showed just three of us including me picked sema while hundreds selected the other two options instead. I wonder how many folks keep using sema these days and among them how many turn to unofficial sources for it.

BrightWillow65archiveSep 1, 2025

It looks to me like the innovative bunch has now largely moved onto tirz and reta.

GreenBeacon80archiveSep 1, 2025

I stack it for its hunger stomping attributes.

WarmQuill37archiveSep 1, 2025

Right now I'm on a milligram of sema plus I've thrown in a milligram of reta over the past little while. No issues here.

BlueMarble68archiveSep 1, 2025

That initial choice suited me well enough to start with, and I've still got enough around for upkeep if I feel like continuing. There's no reason to pick up anything extra, supposing I ever wanted to pass some along. It works fine overall, though it did leave me a little stopped up.

That seems reasonable. Plenty of individuals who began with this compound some time back likely already possess a significant supply kept in cold storage. Being someone who's only recently entered this alternative sourcing area, I find myself with sufficient quantity for around a full year, regardless of increasing the amount used. Individuals newer to the process may prefer trying the most current versions in an effort to shed pounds rapidly. I can relate to wanting quick results, yet dropping weight at an accelerated rate might lead to additional complications. Should my girlfriend decide she wants to add or change something, I plan to take things slowly.

Many continue benefiting from the established option in this category. It performs well. Individuals in the alternative sourcing space, including me, have an interest in exploring other compounds. The fact that some have adopted later versions shouldn't lead anyone to conclude the first one falls short. Its success allowed the originating firm to earn enormous sums because it set the standard and functioned effectively. I intend to stick with it for quite some time before considering alternatives or combinations.

Surgery to extract a growth from inside my head took place back in 2022, after which a hormone specialist began one medication for me. The same doctor prescribes another compound unofficially to selected people for assorted motives, and in my situation the goal is raising counts of a certain gut microbe following years of repeated medicines. Expense at the treatment center grew excessive, so I shifted to a different source recently. Going ahead I intend to take tiny doses of both items together with the remaining compounds already in my routine. Numerous advantages apart from any effect on body mass are what pulled me toward the first one, which is why I expect to keep it on hand.

SlowWillow88archiveSep 1, 2025

I'm continuing with sema since tirz gives me an allergy. Once it lost effectiveness I thought about moving to reta or another option and ended up combining it with cagri.

AmberAlder78archiveSep 4, 2025

Semaglutide is working out well for me too. Trying tirzepatide instead led to cramps in my abdomen. Returning to the first option feels good, with just some exhaustion as a downside.

WarmQuill37archiveSep 5, 2025

My approach right now involves using one milligram of sema followed three days afterward by one milligram of reta. Over the last seven days I shed four pounds, and should that pattern continue I'll probably lower the reta dose to point five milligrams. The target is holding the weekly reduction near two pounds. Sema controls hunger effectively and reta acts as a strong fat burner. In my view their pairing is quite effective.

AmberSignal16archiveSep 5, 2025

Several folks receive assistance from me so I introduced them to sema right away. This option works really well when people are just getting started.

NorthAlder82archiveSep 10, 2025

My partner is thriving while taking sema. Tirz suits me far better since the first option caused trouble. Later during this process I might test a tiny dose once more to strengthen appetite control before shifting to costlier choices like reta survo maz or cagri.

I noticed this one left me wanting food pretty often, even though portions got smaller. A lot of folks end up let down because it doesn't quiet hunger the way they hoped.

Personally, I find I still need some willpower to keep things in check. Since I'm taking a pretty small amount, maybe that's why it seems different to me.

ClearKettle23archiveSep 22, 2025

Currently maintaining on five milligrams of tirzepatide along with an added milligram of semaglutide. The extra bit helps quiet those binge eating urges and constant food thoughts for me as a seventy five year old woman. Everything feels really good right now. 😊

PatientKettle47archiveSep 22, 2025

Should unofficial channels stay gone, once this current prescription finishes I'll switch to the other option. Because I've already used a strong amount they allow beginning at a bigger level with the replacement. At the moment I'm taking half the maximum pen strength so I'll aim to maximize the new injector by turning the dial and testing amounts. Really hope the switch succeeds since hunger control has weakened lately and official larger levels cost too much after the maker raised fees. My body mass index sits close to goal, my weight stays level, and muscle keeps growing.

SlowCompass87archiveSep 22, 2025

I combine Sema with the Tirz I'm already taking.

WarmQuill37archiveSep 23, 2025
↳ replying to @PatientKettle47

Sorry to say but that injector lacks any sort of click setup. It works more like an epinephrine device where you simply insert it and the full amount comes out automatically. Splitting a stronger unit into reduced portions would require opening it up to move the contents over to a refillable version though I'm unsure if the parts even match up. On the bright side I expect the unofficial channels to return since there's still profit possible even with cheaper options.

PatientKettle47archiveSep 23, 2025

I'm optimistic the unofficial market will return someday and I figure it will. The British version seems to feature those clicks judging by a diagram shared on a discussion board.

I overlooked the area mentioned. It seems only the American options miss those features. They always aim to squeeze the largest amount possible out of everyone. Monthly expense stays high despite any reduction and stretching supplies is frowned upon. That competing medication ends up costing significantly more.

I've found this approach really helpful in every way, and I'm now just keeping things steady. I began back in the summer of 2023. There wasn't a huge amount for me to shed unlike others, but I'd been struggling with eating issues like bulimia from middle school onward, and these compounds have really protected my mental health and my dental health.

NorthAlder82archiveSep 25, 2025

It's possible to move the material from those pens into a clean container and then measure out portions from there instead. We're a pretty creative group.

Back in the day I kept applying that approach regularly since it gave a simple alternative.

Oh well. The store-bought stuff never lasted long with me, so no workaround ever came up. Around week six I came across the page, and amounts stayed small at that stage. Once I chose, ordering happened inside seven days. Everything felt set not long afterward.

GreyThistle70archiveOct 13, 2025

Once the tirz stops working as well, I begin adding sema in rising amounts each time, starting at 0.35mg then going up to 0.5mg followed by 0.75mg and finally reaching 1mg. That followed three weeks using just the 5mg tirz alone, and the weekly sema increases stretched the tirz supply across seven weeks total. My weight went down by roughly 0.5kg to 0.8kg every week on average.

GreyThistle70archiveOct 14, 2025
↳ replying to @BlueMarble68

I'm now into week sixteen. Currently I'm on a straight ten milligrams of this medication and expect to remain there across the coming eight weeks, adding a climbing amount of the other one during weeks four through eight. The tirzepatide stops working as well for appetite control after a while. Still, at these bigger amounts I hit that full feeling halfway into eating and simply cannot keep going because it feels like my stomach might split open. Strange, isn't it? We all realize it could fit twice the amount.

SlowHarbour85archiveOct 15, 2025

About five weeks back I placed an order, and to reach the minimum needed for a wire transfer I ended up getting far more Sema and Reta than I expected. Based on my present dose that leaves me with enough Sema to last over forty six years, so I’ll be combining the two for quite a while. 😂

Or you could sell that sema at discount in Asia. Add label to look pro.

Are you combining both substances in a single syringe or taking two separate injections?

I received two unique injections with three days separating them.

↳ replying to @GreyThistle70

Since I'm in the United States, I'd rather hand this over to people I already know, especially if they can't handle the price of their medicine. Trying to sell wouldn't bring in sufficient cash to make up for the effort or the possible problems that come with it. :/

RustWillow52archiveOct 22, 2025

Lately I've noticed mentions of folks combining shots of sema with reta. Does that happen often? It might be since reta curbs appetite less effectively than sema. Still pretty new around here... 🤓

WarmQuill37archiveOct 22, 2025
↳ replying to @RustWillow52

I began using sema first. My dosage stays pretty minimal at 1mg, so I went ahead and included reta at the same time. That means I've never tried reta by itself.

RustWillow52archiveNov 30, 2025

Here's a brief account of my experience. I began at a half milligram dose of Reta one evening at the end of the week. Hunger returned by the middle of the following week and grew stronger the next day. The weekend felt completely normal as though nothing had been used. So I got some Sema instead. In the next cycle I repeated the Reta on Sunday night and added the other compound on Thursday at a quarter dose. The effect on my appetite from the Sema was remarkably strong. It matched exactly what I had hoped for from Reta alone. After combining them for the first time I feel very satisfied.

↳ replying to @RustWillow52

From what I know the hunger-reducing effect of this stuff only starts working at larger amounts while lower amounts similar to what you're taking can actually make you feel hungrier. That lines up with what you've been seeing and your approach.

CopperFenwick68archiveNov 30, 2025

Early attempts to combine them didn't yield noticeable advantages for me so I kept using only the initial compound. These days I'm maintaining my weight yet I'm thinking about including a tiny bit of the other one due to advantages it offers aside from curbing hunger. Research examining benefits of these medications unrelated to shedding pounds centers on the specific receptor action of one type rather than the other pathways involved. While those other mechanisms do offer support prioritizing the primary one appears most important to sustain.

NorthMarble77archiveDec 9, 2025

After my shipment got held up at the border last summer and I lost everything, I decided that was it. Now I only go with sources that keep stock inside the country. Getting that kind of notice is nerve-wracking. You receive formal warnings from the authorities warning about the contents being against the rules. They got rid of what was inside and mailed a notice confirming it, so I just let it go. That's why I steer clear of anything coming from overseas. Plus, once something like that happens, your details end up on a list that makes future incoming mail more likely to get checked if it looks off. I've stopped doing it entirely.

I've been experimenting with sema for some time now. The outcome with my RS looked good so I kept going with the same thing. I might already be at the top end of what it can do. No point switching when the present setup keeps delivering.

WryLantern85archiveDec 12, 2025

In addition I'm taking two milligrams of Sema combined with the Tirz I'm currently using at twenty milligrams following five day cycles.

LevelPebble88archiveDec 14, 2025

Right now I'm not on this or other similar things. Assuming the shipment arrives and checks out fine, my plan involves starting sema while it continues to deliver results, after which I'll move over to tirz. Other people's stories indicate the switch works smoothly going this way around, though the reverse from tirz back to sema tends to be less reliable. I'm not interested in trying the newest versions or doing blends right now because what I need is just some results plus a steady long-term strategy. Blends might catch my attention eventually, but getting familiar with how each single peptide performs comes first for me.

After noticing remarks posted by members I chose to experiment with this approach several weeks back. Previously stuck using 3mg of the initial compound during May 2025 I incorporated the second substance resulting in intense bowel issues despite tiny amounts. Experimented with the third option which proved ineffective for me despite reaching 12mg. Therefore returned to 1mg of the first substance the previous year attempting to sustain progress. Began combining 1.25mg of the first with 2mg of the third and currently it appears effective. Aiming to shed the remaining 30-40 pounds

I've been taking Reta for more than eight weeks and now I'm wondering about starting Sema too, since the appetite comes back around four days after each Reta shot. Given that I've already adjusted to Reta, I'm curious what others might suggest for an initial Sema amount and was considering half a milligram.
