How many meals a day do you eat on Reta?

Summary

How many meals a day do people typically eat while taking Retatrutide?

Users describe a wide range from one large meal to four smaller ones, with two or three being most common. Appetite suppression makes some people naturally skip breakfast or snacks, while others force protein intake or eat by the clock to hit macros. Protein focus stays consistent across approaches, and many note less food noise than on semaglutide.

I've noticed my eating patterns shifting after beginning this medication. On a normal day I have a whey and creatine scoop on gym days, breakfast with two eggs plus ham or avocado, lunch of beef chicken or salmon with vegetables, and then coffee with milk plus a light snack or another protein scoop. I sometimes feel hungrier at one meal but can't manage a third meal any day. I'm unsure if two meals daily will work long term and would appreciate advice on adjustments if needed.

PlainAlder11archiveSep 4

It seemed odd because my pattern was three meals daily in small portions without ever feeling hunger.

GreyHarbour55archiveSep 4

On weekdays I begin with a protein drink. Then during the afternoon hours I consume two boiled eggs spaced out to include some protein. After that comes a modest balanced supper along with a possible small indulgence if the mood strikes. Saturday usually involves a reasonable midday meal plus occasional nibbles if hunger appears which rarely happens after lunch or maybe a light supper during social time. Sunday my spouse prepares a pleasant morning meal then I have a balanced evening meal possibly with an extra bite. I like to get several dishes ready ahead on Sunday so evenings go faster once work ends during the days ahead. Not long ago I prepared fresh pasta casseroles including the pasta and sauce myself and served them with greens each evening. Feeling so content on Reta makes me happy since I consume things I like.

One. 11am: coffee 1pm: coffee 6-8pm: large meal

BrightBramble77archiveSep 4

With intermittent fasting I stick to just two meals daily. The eating window opens at noon and closes between four and five in the afternoon.

SlowMeadow40archiveSep 4

I stayed on three constantly throughout. These days I'm keeping up the maintenance with a bit less and grab something to eat when hunger strikes.

SteadyCinder23archiveSep 4

Breakfast was never my habit anyway so these days I stick to just two meals total. This one leaves hunger pretty much intact unlike the other medication I tried before. Even with a two milligram dose I can still put away plenty when I feel like it whereas that never happened with semaglutide.

IronLantern24archiveSep 4

I mostly drink one shake packed with protein along with two meals each day.

I find it tough to describe my daily food intake as actual meals because typically I just consume around seven or eight mouthfuls at various points. To me that doesn't really count as sitting down for a proper meal. The other evening I finished a piece of steak yet lacked space for anything additional despite wanting to add some vegetables for fiber such as snap peas along with tomato slices that sat unused.

ClearLantern70archiveSep 5

I go with whatever meal count fits my lifestyle and everything stays fine if my protein intake is adequate.

That is scary. That is not near enough coffee!

Before reta I used to really like this stuff but now it's hard for me to eat enough so I spread it across three or four meals with a protein shake or bar added in.

RustSparrow51archiveSep 5

OMAD plus coffee all day long and the occasional water.

BrightCompass36archiveSep 5

I eat four meals each day with forty to fifty grams of protein per meal for a total of two thousand six hundred calories.

WarmAnchor74archiveSep 5

Sticking to the plan isn't easy but mornings start with oats left soaking overnight then comes the first real meal of minced beef that's almost fat free along with some potatoes next up is chicken with rice a protein drink ahead of training and steak once the session ends.

SlowMeadow40archiveSep 5

Wondering about the amounts that others take together with this. Right now I use one and a half milligrams and get hungry enough for three meals almost constantly.

PlainKettle14archiveSep 5

Hello I stick to timed meals consisting of morning food a protein drink midday food and supper along with occasional nuts or treats at night when necessary I hardly ever get hungry even following sixty minutes of exercise my meal amounts remain restricted

My experience using these GLP compounds has shown reduced appetite consistently. A typical meal now amounts to only twenty-five to fifty percent of earlier portion sizes. Feeling stuffed after eating no longer occurs as it once did so I commonly save the excess for consumption during the subsequent meal. Weekly I am on five milligrams tirz plus four milligrams reta.

BlueMarble65archiveSep 6

I'm going for four tiny ones hoping they will stabilize my glucose levels.

LevelAlder53archiveSep 6

Being involved in both grappling and weight training means meeting my protein and carb targets is key to bouncing back after sessions. I've settled into eating lightly with protein in the morning and loading up on carbs ahead of my early workout. I stick to just a handful of prepared dishes like chicken with rice and vegetables because flavor isn't a big priority for me. While using reta my appetite shifts around—sometimes it's tough to consume enough but other times like now it's straightforward to hit two hundred grams of protein. Personally getting more downtime leads me to consume larger amounts.

I tend to stick with three meals daily. For the morning one it's often something light like yogurt mixed with fruit pieces or a bit of granola. At midday I just grab whatever's available in the workplace dining area that doesn't turn me off that particular day. In between I'll munch on almonds that are either plain salted or coated in dark chocolate which I keep in my supply of bulk packages. Evening meals vary quite a bit though over the past month and a half I've aimed for improved selections. The main issue used to be evening nibbling in front of the screen typically the unhealthiest items from the cupboard yet much of that urge to eat has diminished by now so I take a tiny serving or pass altogether.

During my phase of restricting calories for fat loss, I'd reach for a protein bar as a nighttime indulgence. This choice kept me full and supported hitting my protein targets. Having sampled numerous varieties, a particular one remained my top pick for quite a while due to its softer consistency unlike the rest. Recently another has taken over because of its appealing mouthfeel along with the fiber content it provides.

NorthPebble82archiveSep 7

My eating pattern shifts between two and three times a day when I'm not taking any pills, based on whether I'm following something like a low-carb plan. Most days I stick with three, but breakfast stays identical every time because that helps track my intake more easily.

LevelFenwick92archiveSep 7

My usual pattern includes three meals spread across the day. I skip tracking exact calorie numbers but focus on protein sources and foods that undergo little processing. Weekdays stick to a very similar meal structure each time. Weekends bring more flexibility where I simply respond to hunger cues instead. Now and then I might grab a pastry alongside a hot drink, enjoy some beers, or share an evening meal with others. Morning starts with a thick dairy option mixed with fruit like kiwi. Around midday comes a portion of ground meat from grass-fed animals with ten percent fat. Evening features protein paired with vegetables. Several cups of tea or coffee fit in during the hours in between. This approach has stayed consistent for two years now and has reduced those constant thoughts about food so I rarely snack or feel ongoing urges. One Saturday recently involved just a single meal. Even so I prefer regular eating to keep calorie levels high enough that my training progress does not slip.

SteadyPebble24archiveSep 7

My eating pattern consists of three modest portions that leave me satisfied. Between those I feel zero urge to eat anything extra. Protein intake lands near one hundred grams from unprocessed ingredients I prepare myself each day. An AI program estimates my typical daily calories fall in the 1300 to 1500 range. I give myself a ten milligram shot of Reta once a week. After dropping sixty five pounds over eighteen months I have held steady at the new weight for another year and a half. Exercise includes one or two sessions with a coach, two hikes, and three to four miles on foot every day. I stand five foot six and currently weigh one hundred thirty five pounds.

CopperHarbour89archiveSep 8

Hunger signals prompt me to have food usually a couple or maybe three sessions per day. Portions stay modest since I reach satisfaction almost right away.

RustAlder52archiveSep 10

Back then my meals happened just three times each day. These days I graze from morning till night. Even so I keep the total calories between 1500 and 1700.

GreyWillow57archiveSep 10

How can anyone chow down constantly yet keep their total under seventeen hundred? Greens maybe? 😆

BrightCompass57archiveSep 10

I start with oatmeal in a bowl mixed with chopped apple pieces or strawberries instead. Four eggs come next after boiling them hard. Then a protein bar providing 240 calories along with 20 grams of protein. Chicken breast goes with broccoli and rice on the side. I blend a shake using Greek yogurt plus two scoops of powder for roughly 70 grams of protein total since it feels like two servings when I finish the first cup and pour more. A single can of tuna rounds things out. I have no idea how many separate meals this adds up to.
