Nothing beats this addition while on Reta for holding onto that pumped look in my muscles, and it brings perks such as sharper thinking plus the ability to push out an extra lift or two in my workouts. Taking five milligrams each day turns out to be enough, as no research backs the idea that starting with a higher amount of fifteen or twenty grams for one or two weeks makes any difference.

PatientBeacon33archiveJun 11

Creatine hydrochloride is what I'm using these days since it doesn't cause as much bloating compared to monohydrate. My reason is mostly the mental benefits it provides.

BrightSignal76archiveJun 11

Creatine mono is my go-to product. Bloating has never been a problem for me. A handful of doses are needed before the system adapts, exactly how it works for most supplements.

QuietHarbour72archiveJun 11

I mix up this daily drink first thing to support my mind and extend my years. It includes eleven grams of collagen, ten grams of that MCT powder, a quarter teaspoon of cocoa bean extract, one gram of lion's mane, and five grams of creatine. I notice sharper thinking throughout the day for sure. Pairing this mix with really healthy meals let me drop all my ADHD meds for good.

I've spotted a pair of videos from a bigger collection that mention the mental upsides linked to creatine use.

BlueHarbour29archiveJun 11

Been taking creatine monohydrate daily for several months now at five grams each time. After sessions on training days I take it then while on other days it goes into a sweet treat right after breakfast. Muscles look fuller from the water and strength went up which encouraged me to push sessions harder. Later I added reta plus at least two grams of protein per kilogram of body weight daily and shifted into a whole new routine. I trust the approach. Well being feels improved yet creatine counts as just one factor among many like cleaner eating more workouts and already dropping ten kilograms which equals twenty two pounds. This is early on my path. Night rest got much deeper once I began the ipa plus cjc blend without dac. A separate thread will cover that peptide.

KeenQuill60archiveJun 11

I've taken ten grams each day for more than two years at this point. My creatine container is set for automatic monthly delivery every six weeks approximately. I enjoy using it a lot. Each morning I stir it together with a cup and a half of Greek yogurt, some blueberries, plus whey protein powder flavored like vanilla ice cream to have as breakfast. The combination is quite satisfying with only 370 calories while giving 57 grams protein, which matters to people concerned about grams per pound lean mass.

SharpWillow45archiveJun 17

I notice variations in the loads I handle and the number of repetitions when using versus skipping this supplement. Daily consumption stays around five to ten grams. Taking it before bed disrupts rest because thoughts keep spinning. The hydrochloride version went down smoother for me yet back then research didn't confirm equivalent gains compared to the standard form at smaller amounts though that could have changed. Rumors suggest a five to one conversion but I seek actual data instead. Blending works well with tropical fruit drink hydration mixes or adding to my shake with protein powder. The workout formula I use already includes five grams of it.

I'm currently using five grams daily and want to test out double that amount because of the mental benefits. Starting tomorrow I'll move up to ten grams and check whether I detect any difference since nothing stood out at the lower dose. Since I began this around the same period I started exercising five times weekly I can't really say if it helped with anything positive. But the results after roughly three months have surprised me a lot. I didn't anticipate such quick improvements in muscle size. Veins are showing now and relatives plus buddies have mentioned how much larger I've become in a positive sense unlike my previous heavier build. Still not adding any other supplements for now. 😁

Anyone getting their vitamins and minerals in bigger quantities?

Recent research points to needing twenty grams daily to get actual brain perks. I split it as ten in morning and ten at night. It caused lots of burps, worse during workouts. Stopped because my blood tests showed high creatinine. The doc asked if the supplement caused it or if kidneys were an issue. Saw basically no change from taking it versus stopping, apart from burps disappearing and levels returning to normal.

SteadyCinder74archiveJun 20
↳ replying to @PlainQuill19

Probably nothing to worry about. I used that supplement for many years until stopping more than ten years back after a diagnosis of early kidney trouble from high test markers and reduced filtration estimates. Results looked better once I quit so I avoided it afterward. This year I started again at a modest daily amount after discovering that such supplements routinely raise the blood marker which then distorts the kidney estimate calculation and produces misleading readings. That explains why numbers improve after stopping as nothing more than a testing quirk. Real evaluation calls for pricier methods instead. It surprises me the doctor seems unaware since basic searches bring up plenty of sources on the topic. Even so there is still no information available about effects from extended use over time.

LevelThistle44archiveJun 20

When taking creatine my creatinine numbers climb so cystatin C ends up giving a more reliable result for estimating glomerular filtration rate.

Yeah I get mine through an online shop by chance. The quality is really solid.

PatientCompass47archiveJun 23

These days I'm not using any creatine supplements. Back when I tried it before, it never seemed to boost my power or endurance levels at all. Yeah, there might be a bit more fluid inside the cells, but that's about it. Since I consume plenty of beef regularly, maybe my body already has what it needs through food alone.

My heart doctor would flip out if he learned I had been consuming saltwater. Creatine might be worth trying, assuming it lacks a bunch of sodium.

QuietSignal61archiveJun 23
↳ replying to @NorthCompass57

I'm wondering why creatine products include salt at all. Water with potassium seems like it could work better for me. It helps offset the sodium.

Grateful for the suggestion you gave, it really means a lot to me. At this stage as an older guy I need to pay close attention to what goes in just to keep going. Those times of polishing off two cheeseburgers with cheese a big order of fries and then a six pack are finished now. What a shame.

Someone joked about assigning particular meals to each weekday, ending in a burial on Friday, which got a laugh out of me. I recall a story from an internet forum about a person who experienced a cardiac issue right when they ate a meat substitute burger from a chain restaurant. That incident increased my wariness toward the coconut oil used and the extensive processing involved.

CopperBeacon24archiveJun 23

I expected better mental performance after raising my daily dose to double the previous amount. Heading out for a workout session today, I left my training footwear behind. Since my residence is close by, I had to switch from street shoes there, which made me look silly for that quick change. Later, en route to the office, I reached my automobile and spotted the cozy indoor pair still on my feet. Oddly, these lapses all concerned shoes.

WarmMeadow55archiveJun 27

I believed the idea that taking twenty grams each day would boost my thinking and concentration. Turns out that claim lacks solid evidence so far. Instead the only noticeable change was frequent burping. My blood work also showed higher creatinine readings something linked to possible kidney problems. After stopping nothing bad happened. No sudden brain fog appeared and my workouts stayed the same strength wise. Even though it's one of the most researched additions besides basic protein I notice zero difference whether I use it or not. I found that when creatinine readings run high switching to a cystatin C check provides a better kidney reading since it stays clear of creatine and muscle mass influences.

GreyAlder46archiveJun 27

I've taken five grams each day for nearly a year. Nothing negative has shown up that I notice aside from raised creatinine in my bloodwork. Not sure if this is connected to what I'm using, though cystatin C reads normal.

RustAlder36archiveJun 27

This stuff really wrecks my black coffee. Ever since the procedure back in December I haven't been able to fall asleep after taking it. It might have something to do with losing most of my colon too.

SharpHarbour92archiveJun 29

Every morning I consume creatine at a dose of five milligrams. Lately I've been considering whether to increase that amount to ten milligrams daily.

NorthKettle47archiveJul 1
↳ replying to @RustAlder36

Mixing creatine along with hmb into a large cup of flavored coffee plus a pair of sweeteners covers the taste enough for me. That remains the single approach that lets me swallow it down. Before this I stuck strictly to plain coffee but after starting the treatment both my caffeine tolerance and my taste preferences shifted quite a bit. I never went for anything but plain before yet now hazelnut stands as the only choice.

I didn't get any effects from the monohydrate form. It seemed to pass straight through without absorbing. I sampled three separate versions from companies I had assumed were solid, yet none of them delivered results.

I see now that this isn't working out for me either. I'm halting it immediately and returning to my regular five grams each day. It changed nothing at all compared to simply using five grams like I meant to. Skip this method. It only ends up costing money unnecessarily and messing with creatinine numbers.

GreyFenwick29archiveJul 3

Daily I consume 15 milligrams. At the beginning when introducing this substance my scale reading climbs by a couple pounds and I attribute that to fluid buildup. Yet following several weeks my stamina during exercise sessions gets better.

CopperLantern27archiveJul 8

Almost 45 now and making a big lifestyle shift for better health, which means hitting the gym for strength work and overall fitness. I am on 10g a day, split as 5g in the afternoon or mixed into my protein shake after training, and another 5g in a shake before bed. Hard to say exactly what it is doing since everything changed together, but I feel like it contributes something and would notice if I stopped. It costs more but I go for the higher purity version. I have thought about starting reta and wonder if there would be any issue since one pulls water while the other holds it.

SlowLantern50archiveJul 15

I try to take 10g a day

BrightCompass57archiveJul 15

I take 10g creatine with my EAAs during the workout. I train every day for two hours.

WryTimber90archiveJul 15

I am an older guy who recalls when creatine first hit in the 90s, heavily promoted back then. The old way was five days at 20g then down to 5g. Some kept the higher amount going until stomach issues hit. Price per kilo is about what it was back then, which means it is cheaper now relative to everything else. No reason not to use it anymore since it is inexpensive and effective.

ClearKettle18archiveJul 16

5g daily. I began creatine at the same time as starting Reta/Tesa/Ipa. Put on 6-8 lbs of water weight in the first two weeks. Creatine is one of the best studied supplements for building muscle so it seems obvious to use while cutting or lifting.

GreyWillow31archiveJul 16

I want to share what happened the time I first tried creatine. It was a chilly Friday after classes when I got back home. All day my mind had been on lifting, yet I skipped eating because I used the cash for this one special buy. The clerk at the shop didn't request identification even though I must have looked shaky. Once inside, my mother wondered how the day went, but I brushed past her since bigger matters were on my mind. I slipped into the washroom and pulled the container from its wrapping. First I tore up the sales slip and sent the pieces down the drain. My pulse picked up as I held the tub and pictured how much heavier I might look soon, wondering what excuse I could give for the sudden size. I peeled off the sticker, shredded it into bits, and flushed those away too. Just then she called out asking what I was carrying. Sweat broke out and my voice shook while I mumbled something about a class assignment, even though I had no idea what to say next. A tear slipped down as I hurried upstairs, poured several scoops into a bottle, added water, and gulped it down. No way to undo it now. I dumped the rest of the powder out the window and watched the white cloud drift off. The feeling started to take over right away. I headed to the basement, dropped in front of the barbell, and caught my reflection. What had I just started?

SteadyMarble26archiveJul 16

Five grams daily is my usual amount. Seeing folks go twenty grams and higher really surprises me. What kind of weights are you even moving?

IronLantern52archiveJul 17

Each day I ingest five grams of creatine. During weight training sessions I combine it with a shake made from fifty grams of whey protein. Rest days see me consuming it alongside a carbohydrate source like an apple followed by the powder dissolved in water. I make sure not to use it too close to when I go to sleep.

GreyFenwick31archiveJul 17

I picked up some creatine after a buddy suggested it, yet my children warned that it might cause swelling and that made me unsure about using it. I'll probably hold off until I ramp up my weight training, though learning about its possible upsides for mental function caught my attention. Maybe I'll try it just for those reasons.

GreyFenwick31archiveJul 17
↳ replying to @QuietHarbour72

Do you blend it into a beverage or whatever? My concentration could use a lift.

CopperBeacon88archiveJul 17

Each day I ingest fifteen grams early on mixed into two scoops of whey protein along with a small measure of HMB. I aim to train with weights daily while using a large quantity of peptides such as reta mots c ss slu bpc tb kpv ghk cu tesa ipa nad and trt which I divide across the start and end of the day. Am I feeling well absolutely. At fifty five years of age I have gone down from two hundred seventy five to two hundred twenty within roughly eight months. I recently experienced neck surgery at levels c five through c seven including a corpectomy at c six after preparing with bpc tb kpv and ghk about thirty days ahead of the operation and experienced no discomfort following it.

There's talk going around about losing hair on top, even though I've seen it's been shown false. My siblings all went bald except for my dad and myself who still have ours. Still, I prefer not to take any chances.

SharpCompass21archiveJul 19

Every single day I stir five grams of creatine into my protein powder before drinking it. Those tales about shedding hair got disproved ages back.

IronThistle80archiveJul 24

For the past fifteen years or so I've been ingesting ten grams of this supplement every single day. Honestly I have no idea whether it provides any advantages because by now it's just something I do automatically.

AmberLedger89archiveJul 24

10g a day split into 2 doses.

NorthSparrow68archiveJul 24

My daily dose stays at five milligrams no matter what hour I swallow it. The sole purpose is holding water inside the muscle fibers to speed up healing. I figure this setup could cut down on the usual lag before the tissue gets ready to mend after soreness hits.

SharpThistle77archiveJul 28

I take five grams each day to help keep from losing lean muscle while cutting on that med. I combine it with lifting weights three or four times a week. Muscles can only hold so much creatine before they hit a storage limit since they aren't endless absorbers. After that point the daily dose just holds the level steady and any extra amount gets filtered out through the kidneys rather than raising the content inside the tissue. Studies on effects for thinking and mood mostly looked at certain groups like women vegetarians older folks or those under metabolic strain. It doesn't always translate the same for everyone.

ClearKettle18archiveJul 28

I take five milligrams every day in those tiny capsules that have been ground up fine. The only issue I've noticed is putting on a bit of extra weight from fluid. There was one time when I tried double that amount and ended up rushing to the toilet urgently within a couple hours.

IronHarbour22archiveJul 28
↳ replying to @ClearKettle18

I avoid the creatine loading phase since it wrecks my gut far harder than any GLP1 has. Five grams each day works fine though.

AmberAlder62archiveJul 29

I consumed five grams of the powder each day over multiple weeks. My usual time for it was in the evening, roughly two hours prior to sleeping. Within several days, my rest would last only four to five hours before I awoke feeling quite awake and refreshed. That part didn't bother me much, yet I started noticing some prickling and puffiness around my neck and nose areas, leading me to stop using it. Lately I switched over to pills instead, and everything appeared okay. What do you think triggered the discomfort?
